The Hobbit DLC

Archive: 12 posts

Oh, everybody loves fantasy, amiright? Wizard spells, and magic wells and little demon babies...but anyway, in homage to my FAV-OR-ITE fantasy book, The Hobbit, I think that Littlebigplanet 2 should have some DLC dedicated to the littlest hero.

Loads of new materials, from Lonely Mountain Stone and Dazzling Dwarven Treasure, to Hobbit Hole Wood and Worgen Fur!

Piles of stickers and decorations, worthy of littlest and biggest of heroes!

Wondrous new Costumes!

New power-up: Smoke Rings!

New backgrounds, music, and audio!

And much, much more!

Ok, down to details. First I guess I'll start with the costumes.

Costume Pack

Bilbo Baggins:
Hobbit's Skin (material)
Bilbo's Hair(hair)
Bilbo's Nose(mustache/nose)
Bilbo's Suit(body)
Bilbo's Trousers(legs)
Bilbo's Boots(feet)
Bilbo's Cloak(back)
Sting(hands)

Gandalf:
Gandalf's Skin (material)

Thorin's Robe(body)
Thorin's Necklace(neck)
Thorin's Hair(hair)

Dwarvish Skin(skin)
Orcrist (hands)

Goblin:
Goblin Scales(skin)

The background (for those who still use them) is Wilderland. The start of the map is Misty Mountains, it continues through some small plains into Mirkwood, Which eventually opens out into Lake town, with Lonely Mountain in the distance.

Music:
Smaug's Desolation
Hobbit Hole Hootenanny (interactive)
Over Hill and Under Hill

Worg Bark
Goblin Scream
Goblin Laughter
Others that i cant think off the top of my head.

New Power-up: Smoke Rings
Your new power-up in The Hobbit DLC is a pipe. Use the pipe by pressing R1, which will release a smoke ring. You can move the smoke ring around like you would a sticker.Left analog stick to turn, grow, and shrink it, right stick to move it. The smoke even matches your player color! Using the soke ring is simple. You get something in the middle of it,and shrink the ring down so it will be tight around whatever you have, be it an object, a key, or a sackbot. It's pretty much a floating lasso. If a pipe isn't acceptable, maybe make it a magic spell or something of that sort.

Whew, that was pretty long. My apologies! Feedback would be appreciated, and muffins even more so!

Yes, it's pretty much a popit in play mode. but you can drop it on accident.

Are you allowed to depict tobacco smoking in a game rated e?

Especially when they refer to it as 'weed'... Which I always thought did a lot to explain the sailing ship made of smoke that gandalf puffs out in the fellowship film ;-)

I think it would be better if they made a LOTR Pack fully not just the hobbit.
Legolas costume would be awesome

This is a good idea, but I don't know if that would work. There are some things in LoTR that probably wouldn't be acceptable for LBP. But I must admit, a Legolas costume would be sweeet. Muffins for you! *tosses muffin*
