Messing with invisible fire.

So I am doing something similar to the "glass fire" like in this joey's level (https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=31481-The-Final-Hour-%28Now-with-video%29), and I am playing around with shunken dark matter.

The problem is that if the player hits it, they only get singed and bounce off it. I want the play to die right away.

Is it just a matter of adding more corners? What's the best technique to achive the instaburn?
I think small circles worked well the last time I tried. The fake flame is about a block 2-3 times bigger than sackboy.

Obviously I want it to be as thermo efficient as possible. Thanks!

Well, burring plasma balls one hit the player, though I'm not sure why. I would try staking the DM together, sort of like the below.

have em fall or whatever they do to get into the fire, then either emmit, or have wall blocking them from bouncing off, they can be invisible too.2010-08-01 08:13:00

Is this for your ghost level midnight? I already miss being able to play with you

I think more corners or what Fishrock said about the | | | | | | | might work.

How about a piston with invisible fire to move up when the player is close to hitting it?
