zone/trigger area detail...

Archive: 3 posts

Ok, this is just one of those small things I find annoying, but having this fixed would be nice. This happens all the time when I create. I have some sort of switch with a trigger zone, or maybe a camera so I can get the perfect angle. The one thing is. This is quite easy normally, since I can see the blue line which lightens up the boundary.
But if I should happen to put this switch or camera on a thin layer, and then put something in front, whatever of the boundary line it goes over does not show! I have to cross my fingers I got everything right and play test it, so I know the trigger zone is ok. It does not take that much of time, really, but you can't help feeling irritating of not seeing where you are heading. It is kind of like a long corridor with one door placed somewhere, you will get there eventually, but you have to blumble (found no fitting word, so I am making up one instead) your way through until you find it.
So MM would you mind making the trigger zone line visible wherever it is when I am tweaking and etc?

Or wait, is this already improved and I have completely missed this?

This is very annoying indeed but I have found resolution. You can get around the problem by using proximity switches instead to activate cameras.

But what really annoys me in cameras is that you cannot see zones when you zoom out.

Similar to this if you are making a trigger radius for something and the background happens to be the same colour you have to change the fog coulour or the colour correction to be able to see this can usually be a pest as I can't seem to get the exact combination I had before so Mm do something before Little Big Planet is doomed! 2010-08-05 01:07:00
