how do u make something that is cut off in the middle ... like a ring ... i wanna make a smiley face with its eyes and smile cut off from the object ..

You really have to be good at corner editing to do that. You must carve out the eyes and the smile using the corner-editing tool. You grab one of the corners on the circle, and drag it inward. Then you'll have to try an make new corners to get eyes and a smile. It helps if you make the circle huge. You can also use stickers instead. Or you can make your eyes and smile using some materials and making them thin, then afterwards you glue them to the circle. Hope this helps. If you need more info, just ask.

i don really understand the corner editing part .... if i draw a huge thing with a brush ... the centre will all be filled right ? so how do i make a hole in the middle of it ?

you can do what thenerd said or go to paint mode, make a squear with a gap in it, turn it into a circle
