I was looking at some of the videos the other day concerning power-ups and when I saw the option to not allow players to drop them I started wondering. Currently if sackboy hits a bit of fire, they drop their powerup so I'm assuming that with this new option on, he won't and will keep it. Could someone from the Mm jam please confirm this for me? Possibly covered elsewhere, but didn't see it offhand in doing some searches. Thanks much!

good idea ,since i make zombie lvls and my zombies are fire,my paint gun drops whenever i touch them .this would be awesome !

i think it means the sackboy cant drop them by pressing the O button but ur idea makes more sense

This is great! I love the idea. Think about it, you've probably played in a boss fight that involves lethal fire and you have a paintinator to defeat him. It can be a pain in the *** to defeat him, just because you drop the paintinator when you touch the fire. With this option, bosses like this will be easier and much better.

These posts are hilarious. Like the OP, I was also curious at to what happens with that setup. EDIT: This reminds me of an Insomniac thread where a long image kept getting quoted over and over. omg dis r grate ideaz even tho it is kwestchin I think Sackboy would keep his powerup... This is what I was thinking when I saw that video from donkey show. Also, doesn't getting slapped get rid of your powerup? :SH:

Nah.. I wouldn't do that.. There are other mods that wouldn't know and just be another thing in their mod inbox to not know what to do with it! lol I will just send them a pm or visitors message. I haven't seen comph on much at all today and rtm's laptop blew up. I posted it thinking maybe one of the others that attended might now.

I suspect you'll probably be able to keep it. Because if you've been given it, and you can't drop it, then most likely, there would be nowhere close by where you could gain it again if you did manage to. So that could potentially ruin a level - so I'm sure they've thought about that. But comfirmation would be cool.

Okay after checking the vids it shows it in the video about power gloves, creatinators, etc. They don't explain but I did find the option. They even spoke of it saying that the player is not allowed to press the circle button to drop it. thats all I know they didn't say if you can or can't touch fire to drop it.

Yeah.. that is what I saw as well and why I raised the question. I assume you wouldn't drop it, but then again I could see them penalizing a player for getting hit with fire. Oh well.. we will find out someday! Thanks!
