Actually More than One. First Problem: My Friends. A Couple Days ago, While online Playing with My Friends, we started Messing around using Bombs and Cages and whatnot, Trying to Kill time I suppose. And after about an hour all we had was a Cage and A big mess of what was left of our Mega Bombs, Then, the Party Leader Suggested "Publish?" Everyone else said Yes, But I found this Quite Disturbing. I wasn't even sure if the Checkpoint was still around. And I knew there wasn't a Score Board. I was Like, "What the SACK? are you kidding me?" There were like, "Uhh no." So Basically The PArty leader slaped on a backround and Called it a Day. This Really Got me Thinking. "Why is everyone trying to Litter LBP" I mean With all that Stephanie Ravens Junk (This includeds her levels and the levels against her) and Those "I need an LBP Girl/Boyfriend levels" (Which my Friens also like to play/ make) I really Don't Get it. So it is with a Heavy Heart That I make My First Frowny Face. Second Problem: My Ability to Make Levels. I'm Just Gonna Throw this out there, anything I think is a bad level but still comeplete, i tend to Publish it, and Mark it as "Beta" Yea I know that's kinda Wrong. (I recently Stoped doing that) I'm Not Gonna Call Myself a Bad Creater, (I got GOTY Edition so I'm Fairly New at this) I'm Familier With Logic, (infact i'm very good at it) I recently Developed my own and/or Switches. I am Kinda a Perfectionist (my Dad is too so it's kinda HIS Fault isn't it?) But all in all, i often Find Myself Creating Somewhat Low Quality Levels, even though I know what makes a good level, and I play other Peoples levels ALL THE TIME. But Yet I'm Just not Good at it, I NEED HELP COMMUNITY, I REALLY NEED HELP!!!!!

That's why I don't like to play with any kind of sackpersons, because most of the times they go to the moon and play their created levels... and they suck so much XD Random background, random bubblepoints, lots of bombs, random message bubbles, and the scoreboard :T And yes, that's why I don't play with my little brother and sister, because their levels are just like that but I don't want to hurt their feelings lol. You should begin with a nice landscape, I don't know what to suggest but yeah, landscapes are kind of VITAL for a good level. And lots of checkpoints, because some people forget about them and it's not fun to play when all of your friends are dead and you can't respawn them. I'll keep editing this if I think about anything else that could help you XD

Hi, I suggest you ask some of your favorite creators in here about their methodology on creating a level. It will vary a lot from creator to creator, but i think you'll find a method that will fit your style. Playing with other creators that are serious about creating would also help you tremendously. Just being able to share ideas and tricks will help you bump your levels to that higher quality that you want. At the end of the day, just have fun! Hope that helps

Yes, there's some good advice written above mine here. Get involved in the community and visit the tutorials and you'll be out of your creative slump before you know it. I find that the generally high standard of creating here at LBPC encourages everyone to stretch themselves, and that's a good thing. So welcome to LBPC, and enjoy your stay

Just visit some platformer levels or highest rated levels, (even a couple levels on how to make a goood level) and take some ideas... mess with them a bit till they look totally different and then keep the process, im taking some story ideas in the level im making at te moment and my freinds have said it its 4/5 star (deadmn, obsessedwithcars crazy_tito stunkel etc)

Don't worry about the publsihing thing. Look at the level now, how many plays does it have? I doubt it has that many, so don't fret. As for your abiltiy to create, we all start somewhere. Play some good levels (the Community Spotlight here always has loads ), mess around a bit, get to gribs with how everything works, and you'll be fine. Anyway, welcome to the forums!

all you can do about the people who r littering is not do it urself and as far as your ability it will increase the more and more info and experience you have in creating and lbpc is a great place to find great info to help you become a great creator

Welcome to the LBPC and you create thread in wrong place. Put your levels in Level Showcase (http://www.lbpcentral.com/forums/misc.php?do=form&fid=2) is a good idea, after join some groups, make some friends, add some pics to your album and make a signature or ask someone to make for you . Welcome again!
