But what happens when the life of someone you love is in danger? Do you keep your powers hidden or reveal your true identity to the world? You decide. 1 Player recommended.
This is my entry to the LBW7 contest, and I think it turned out pretty well. I've gone over this level many times and I think I've fixed all possible flaws. One thing I'm not sure about is if the boss is too hard in it's final stage. Is it too hard to jump between the platforms?

I'm going on holiday tomorrow, and will be back on the 7th, so any F4Fs posted in that time will be done ASAP when I get back.

That's probably the old test version I had locked. The actual level doesn't seem to be showing up in search results right now, so you'll have to go to my published levels page to get to it.

Its a good level! However: the first time I played the conveyor belt area wasn't in motion, and all the guys were stationary (something must have got jammed) so I had to restart the level to complete it.2010-07-28 18:36:00

Thanks for playing! I thought I had sorted out that problem. I think it has something to do with pistons resetting after playing and pausing in create mode. I'll jump back in and sort it out in a few minutes.

I got stuck at the part with the green cube (after the spinning firey cars). Whenever I move the cube away from its pedestal, it respawns, so I can't get it to the place it needs to go. Am I doing something wrong?2010-07-28 18:54:00

Hmm... That's weird. Did the platform with the cube on move down when you stood on it? I'll take a look at this in a minute.

Yeah, it did. I made a mistake there and jumped off the left side, having to suicide to get back to the respawn door (that'd be another issue; you can break the level if you activate some other door). So maybe that had something to do with why I got stuck.

I can probably fix that by making the side of the platform taller, so you can't jump over. After that it should be hard to get outside of that area once you go in. And thanks for playing I'll leave feedback on your level soon.

Good stuff!
The visuals are alright near the beginning but they better as the level progresses and becomes more futuristic. other than the lab environment (the best looking part) they are just ok.
I fell into where the robots go after falling off the conveyor. i got stuck there until i was squished. you may want to put something there that kills sackboy instantly.
The Boss is not a challenge. Just stay in the middle and just wait. Its possible to go away and come back and find the boss finsihed. the plasma balls just fly btween the platforms and the brain bubbles spin at sackboys height when lowered.

The conveyor belt and green cube bits should be fine now. Let me know if they're still playing up.

I fell into where the robots go after falling off the conveyor. i got stuck there until i was squished. you may want to put something there that kills sackboy instantly.
I could have sworn I put some gas there Well, there definitely is now. You can't get down there now.

The Boss is not a challenge. Just stay in the middle and just wait. Its possible to go away and come back and find the boss finsihed. the plasma balls just fly btween the platforms and the brain bubbles spin at sackboys height when lowered.
There's a lot more coverage by the plasma now, so you can't just stand there anymore

Yup! Each cube will respawn if destroyed. Although you may have to wait a second or two, because the key is on the LED (which shouldn't break), and it falls really slowly

When I got to cars with buttons that pump the cars up, the second car's button appeared to not be attached to anything and did not work. restarted and tried again to see if something just glitched, but no, still broken.

Wow that's really weird! That must have happened somehow as I was looking at bits near the end. I have no idea how I could have accidentally done that. I'm updating it now.

And I'll make the switch invisible. I thought I had caught all of those Thanks for playing!

EDIT: Updated, should all work correctly now.

Just played all the way through. Cool level! I especially like the use of music and the camera work is very effective in most places. I noticed a couple of things on my way through:

1. Where the sackpeople are being turned into robots, I was able to fall off the platform and not be killed by gas. I got stuck down there and the lights went out. Had to use retry. Not sure if that was intended.
2. During the boss, I was able to use the respawn entrance to spring myself up to the boss's brains. Shortcut!
3. After the boss, it's a little unclear what to do; I wasn't sure if heading left would be falling to my doom (since there was gas beneath). Maybe tweak the camera after the boss is dead.

Really good overall though! Keep tweaking out the glitches. :star::star::star::star:<3

1. Gas really seems to like disappearing in this level :kz: I've added gas in that spot, and hopefully it should stay this time.

2. I've increased the trigger radius for the piston, you shouldn't go flying anymore

3. I've added a camera angle afterwards, but I'm not sure if it's enough.

That's my last post for the night. Now I need to get up at 4:30AM to fly to New York, so any F4Fs posted after this will have to be done after 6 August. Think of it as a free bump if your level has dropped down a few pages by then

I liked the story plus the atmosphere was cool but when I had to put the green circle in the corner to the right, it kept dissolving and a new one appeared when I pulled it towards that making it at least seem impossible to beat. Is it just a bug or a very mind-bending puzzle?2010-07-29 19:49:00

I can't seem to recreate this. It works fine when I play it. Is there anything else you might be doing to cause this?

Hi Otune,

This was a fun level with a cute story. I really liked the cutscenes at the beginning. I think that the part in the park and the scrap yard could use some more decoration and detail, but the lab made up for the that. The lab visuals were great. It looked very futuristic. I loved the elevator and the effect to turn the sack people into robots.

I thought boss fight was easy. I'd like to have more interaction with the boss and points of attack.

I thought this was a really neat concept and story. Fun and well made. Did not experiences any problems/glitches either. Great job!:star::star::star::star: If you have a chance, please check out Mermaid Isle.
