Thermo Cheating Question

When using Aya's thermo glitch, is it possible save the emitter and the free object place it and it will be free again?2010-07-28 06:05:00

I'm pretty sure it is. It works with demitters, and I'm pretty sure I've done it before and it's stayed the same thermo cost. Really, though, for something so simple, why didn't you just try it yourself instead of starting a thread for it?2010-07-28 07:42:00

I'm fairly certain it doesn't work.

However, if your goal is to try to get a complex object into a level that's nearly overheated, you can do this instead:-


Create the one-shot emitter as per my guide, and capture it.
Place the emitter into the overheating level, and make it emit itself.
Set the original emitter to emit a block of DM (but don't trigger it).*
Then tweak the emitted emitter to emit the thing you really wanted, and emit it.


* Actually, I'm not sure if this step is necessary or not.
