Alright, I'm sure there are alot of threads like this, but yet I still ask, whats the best way (easiest/quickest) to get them, if you have one tell me how you got yours. I know there are contests for them, but as another problem i'm kinda new to lbpc and can't find MM crown-contests:blush: if you could tell me how to find them, that'd also be great. I also realize that if you make an OUTSTANDING level you can get a crown. Any help

Mmkay. I haz been crowned, and I used the same formula I used to help a second person get a crown. First off, make an LBP-related form of media. A piece of art is best, but a video or story might work. Make sure this looks as though you spent a long time on it, and if it's a series, make sure you are committed to it! Then, post it on LBW. If you get positive feedback, you are on the right track! After a few weeks, PM one of the Molecules about your work. Say that you would love to know what the Molecules think of it. He'll say something about putting in the tea room in the community section. If this all works out, you have about a 50/50 chance of winning the crown. Psst, using a little affort works too, rather than being lazy and just looking for a quick way to win one. Just look around LBP-related sites, there are plenty crown-giving contests a lot of times. (Heck, there's one one in progress as we speak, sadly the deadline to enter is already over, so you just missed that one m8.)

^ LBP-related videos and such work too. Objects actually made usually get more attention if done well enough. But no matter wich method, you still have to do something dude! You can't just expect to earn a crown for doing nothing!

Any help Thats not true there are many levels and creators especially on here who have made what people have considered outstanding or the best levels ever and they haven't won crowns (I can think of 5 people here right off the bat), its a very rare occassion when a level does get crowned (like the yearly sackies) I'm just glad cool pages have gotten fixed from that evil flaw so that other stupid rumor of being on cool pages or having X amount of plays/hearts to getting a crown can finally die. I hate all the messages/comments i get on my inbox (PSN or Youtube) from noobs about that Contests are pretty much your best bet. I haven't heard much of successful stories on my end from doing fan related things other than the really big/good ones like the giant pixelated sackboy. But if what Jaslow says is true then go for it. Either way you pretty much have to put a lot of time and effort into whatever way you choose. Don't make something that was made in a few hours and then demand for a crown (and avoid making the theme of it about crowns as well)

I think the fact that they give 'em away as easy as they do, has taken the value off of it. I think the best way is to have a world renounced catch phrase about LBP.... hmmm.. how bout: Welcome! Glad ya made it! Have Fun! If u dont get one with that, then I dont know... lol

Post it on LBW and then after a while you pm them asking them to check it out.(as was previously mentioned) It would have to be something amazing if its in LBP, if its outside of LBP it would have to be something really unique, like the people that knitted sackboy, the kid that decorated his house with LBP stuff, something that MM would like.

That makes me wonder, the forum section in Norwegian don't give sense to me (it looks like cow-dung compared to the US), so would one of the crown competitions, even if it is for England or USA, count for me even though I am in Norway, and not in the given country, if I show up with a level?

To post a pic or video you upload it to a sharing site like tinypic(no account necessary) then copy the code into a new thread and add info about what your posting. PM is a private message, find a member of MM and send them a link to your post.

Some people are really desperate to get a crown but to be honest when you have one its not all that. I don't even wear mine all the time, id rather create a funky hair style and stroll around in that! Plus the crown doesn't go well with most of the hair pieces and makes you look like a PEA HEAD! But i have to admit i did want the crown (not desperately) so i entered a competition and i won it, after a few weeks the excitement of having a crown had gone lol at least im left with being proud of winning my 1st comp!
