[Pt. 1] Patapon: Lost In Timevalmassoi
http://i1021.photobucket.com/albums/af338/jfjdslewrwer/IMG_1254.jpgAn ancient finding allows Sackboy to enter the world of Patapon. However, a discovery in time leaves Sackboy with a quest he'd never imagine. Part 1 of 2.
After 7 long days of hardcore planning and creating, I present this level to you! I only have one picture below because I don't want to spoil what Sackboy's real quest is. And I apologize for the ending, I literally ran out of space and had to cut stuff out, that's why I made this a short series. Anyways please leave feedback, I'd like to know what you think! Thanks to Nuffles, dragonmember, and famouscustard for helping me think of ideas. And Ali985 for making a few patapon!

Sorry about that, I'm not sure if you have the older version, originally i forgot to glue the jetpack, but in the newer version i did. If it's glued then yes grab the star, if the jetpack is in the gas re-download (sorry)!

Hello! I've just played the level! Here's my feedback

The good:
- The level has a good storyline, there is a variety of scenery
- The patapons look brilliant, shame they can't move
- Level is large, and doesn't finish within 5 minutes
- Loads of different obsticles, which kept me on my toes

The sad:
- Seems a tad blank at places, a scattering of stickers may have helped :-)
- The game suddenly ended, I realise that it may have thermoed out
- MyMoon section was a bit confusing

Feedback
Rating: I gave the level 4.5/5, rounding that up gave you a :star::star::star::star::star:
Heart: Yes! A heart! I reckon a lot of effort went into the level which gave you my seal of approval <3

Hey Val, I downloaded this earlier and really enjoyed it. The idea was very clever and it worked well (gave abig of an all round story to the level, rather than plonking you down with no reasoning). There were some tricky bits, but overall it wasn't too hard, which I enjoyed.

Visually, it was a bit spacey and could have used more stickers or background objects, but I guess you couldn't fit them in.

:star::star::star::star:

And I await your next level!

I'm not sure what you mean by My Moon section was confusing... Did you forget to go to the lever? Thanks for your extensive review, I wish i got more of those. Yay heart! I did put a lot of effort in it, I even had to draw stuff on paper before creating, I've never done that before!

hey valmassoi!

thanks for your feedback to fade to black (https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=31648-fade-to-black&p=550873)!
now, i realy liked the level, and when i saw the scoreboard i almost cried, becouse i got even more interested in don when i saw the patapon talking about it, so im going to wait until part 2!

now, i just didnt understood why does sackboy starts in my moon, patapon have a base there, wich they dont want sackboy to enter) and then, when sackboy enters, sackboy becomes like a god, very strange

Yay you just made my day

Thanks for making a Patapon level Valmassoi, I've been waiting for one.
The level was good, not amazing, but good. There were certain parts that were really well done. The patapons were designed really well, as well as the logo and the portal-psp thing. Some of the platforming was also very enjoyable. However, some parts of the level felt blank and rushed. If you showed the same attention to detail you showed when making the logo throughout the level, the next level could be really special.
I gave you 5 stars and I look forward to Part 2.

Sweet, I know some stuff was dull, that's what full thermo does, sorry bout that.

Sackboy starts on my moon because he landed a mission there, and since in my level my moon is the "center of all imagishpheres" the Patapon have a portal there. I'm pretty sure the astronaut said that. The black thing that said you must not go to the world of patapon is a huugggeeee part of the second one I'm working on, and the Patapon never really said they didn't want you there, I just put those words in your head near the first gas area to make it a twist in the second. And if you've played Patapon, you'll understand why I made him the "Mighty One." I know it's kinda confusing, but I'm that kind of writer Just wait for pt 2, it's gonna be epic. But anyways thanks for giving me a review, I'm glad someone asked.

Great platforming, love the level design, especially the patapons (but since when did the PATA drum have a mustache). It would have been fun to play the game LIKE patapon (square square circle square is march pon pon pata pon is attack etc.) but since that is ridiculously difficult to build i`ll just say that I loved your level and that the only complaint I would have is that it feels a little too linear. by that I mean the gameplay got a little tedious and it sort of felt all the same by the end of the level) and I think in your next level you should try to vary in your gameplay design. :star: :star: :star: :star:2010-08-29 06:45:00

Yeah I totally understand. When I finished this one it just didn't seem to be too outstanding. I tried a couple times to make the level like the patapon game, but as you've said it's really hard to get the rhythm and stuff. I would of had the Pon & Chaka section be a lot better but that stupid thermo was not my friend! Anyways, I'll be sure to make the conclusion more interesting gameplaywise and scenerywise.

just a question, is this themed on any patapon games? or is it just a patapon themed level?

It revolves around the characters of Patapon and a story about the drums
