Burning Hatred Part I: ~Exile~drew571
http://www.lbpcentral.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=20364A story based level with some fun platforming sections! Some good puzzles and many secrets. Give it a try! (Sequel Coming Soon)
This level was constructed over a several weeks with the help of: bonhomme1, bonna97 and nick1597.
It is a level were you wake up in a cave and meet the God Deforian (A piece of red dark matter) the god promises to help you find and kill the God Trokolus because he exiled you to the mountains. With basic logic and some fun underwater sections I think you should give this level a go!

P.S Sequel shall be 100x better

I just played it. It was OK but nothing special.

The I liked the underwater platforming bits (although the one at the end was way too dark) but the rest of the level felt fairly shoddy. Nothing lead me to care one bit about the story and the visuals seemed rushed. There were bits that just weren't executed very well, such as the over-dramatic enemy that can be killed in about 10 seconds, and the 3D glitch could have been put to better (and more frequent) use.

Still, I liked some of the platforming segments and I can say that the level was fun to play though. Overall:

My observations:

http://i612.photobucket.com/albums/tt210/swanbrown/utility/swanbullets.jpg The teleport: It seemed a little crude with the exposed gas. I'd put a thin-layer cover over it, or extend it further down and have a global darkness "Quick fade to black" set in the wall. Also, I'd put in a sound to cover up the "gas death" sound a bit.

http://i612.photobucket.com/albums/tt210/swanbrown/utility/swanbullets.jpg nice use of emitted invisible material to keep the player from back tracking after the water is "some how cleansed"

http://i612.photobucket.com/albums/tt210/swanbrown/utility/swanbullets.jpg the stepping stones in the poison water: Some back ground would be nice here. even if it was just a blank brick wall, or cliff-face. Since you really don't need all three layers here, it's do-able.

http://i612.photobucket.com/albums/tt210/swanbrown/utility/swanbullets.jpg The underwater maze: it would be nice to see some non-90 degree angles here. I'm not saying to radically change the maze, just shift some points a bit, and maybe chop a corner or two.

http://i612.photobucket.com/albums/tt210/swanbrown/utility/swanbullets.jpg the same for the steps. The temple looks GREAT, with it's shifted pillars, but the stairs it sits on look freshly- carved.

http://i612.photobucket.com/albums/tt210/swanbrown/utility/swanbullets.jpg Second under-water maze: you could use a check point around the Air source.

http://i612.photobucket.com/albums/tt210/swanbrown/utility/swanbullets.jpg I'm not one of those people who have to have 3-D glitch to like a level, but it did seem a little bare in spots, Even if you just copy-and-pasted that house back ground object a few times through out the level, it would be an improvement. in other parts, I'd just use some thin-material as a back-drop.

http://i612.photobucket.com/albums/tt210/swanbrown/utility/swanbullets.jpg nice use of music through the whole level.

http://i612.photobucket.com/albums/tt210/swanbrown/utility/swanbullets.jpg Kudos on the text. I only noticed one error : "Thats one far away house!"...Dropped an apostrophe on "that's"

http://i612.photobucket.com/albums/tt210/swanbrown/utility/swanbullets.jpg I liked the humor. made me smile a couple of times.

http://i612.photobucket.com/albums/tt210/swanbrown/utility/swanbullets.jpg http://i612.photobucket.com/albums/tt210/swanbrown/utility/swanbullets.jpg I enjoyed playing through this. I'd say that it is within easy grasp of a solid 4 star rating with a few improvements
~ Hope that helps.

When you get a chance, I'd like some feedback on COPYABLE: Gradient Work Shop 2.2 (https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=t=14333)
