Need Help With Game Save Download
Archive: 9 posts
So, I found a game save of 100% complete of LBP (PLEASE, don't give me any criticism for doing so, I got a new PS3 earlier this year and I really don't have the time to collect everything again. I just wanna create with everything at my disposal! ) But I have been having trouble getting the save onto my PS3. I download the file onto my pen drive from this website http://www.gamefaqs.com/ps3/938583-littlebigplanet/saves (its the very bottom one.) But when I take the pen drive and put it into my PS3, when I open it up in the 'Game Save Folder' it shows nothing there! I tried downloading it onto the pen drive again, directly from my PS3 browser, but it still would not recognize it. It has been downloaded, but the PS3 doesn't read it. The computer I downloaded it on was a Mac running on OSX. If anyone could help, I would really appreciate it. <3 | 2010-07-27 13:47:00 Author: Mr_T-Shirt Posts: 1477 |

Is the file just on the pendrive or is it in the right folder? Probably easiest to copy the lbp file off your PS3 then on the computer substitute it with the complete save. | 2010-07-27 17:46:00 Author: Rabid-Coot Posts: 6728 |

My friend does game saves on Xbox, and this is what you must do. Put a save from LBP and when you are on the computer put the game save in the pendrive. Delete your file and then you should be good to go. | 2010-07-27 18:05:00 Author: Snrm Posts: 6419 |
This is quite confusing, so your saying that I need to; in someway get rid of MY LBP save file and replace it with the downloaded one? Can the PS3 not support two LBP saves on the same user or something? | 2010-07-27 20:21:00 Author: Mr_T-Shirt Posts: 1477 |
I'm sayang that for the PS3 to recognise the save on your memory stick it needs to be un the correct folder and the easiest way to get that folder is be copying a LBP save off the PS3. Once you have the folder you can delete the files in it and replace them with the complete save file you downloaded. Plug it into the into the PS3 again copy it onto the ps3 then import the profile in game. Since they changed the way saves works you can keep multiple back up profiles in the save game section so you can keep your own profile for future use. | 2010-07-27 20:38:00 Author: Rabid-Coot Posts: 6728 |
In your flash drive create a folder that says PS3 inside that folder make another folder called SAVE DATA Download your save file into that and extract it Should work and if it doesnt then copy whatever is inside of that save file folder into the folder SAVE DATA Need a better explaination? | 2010-07-27 20:41:00 Author: Unknown User |
