Recently, I have been playing the new Marvel Level Kit. When playing one of the levels, I reset the level due to me dying in attempt to ace it. A second later I was taken back to the playstation menu. I started up LBP again and the game had reset I was back at the introduction level. I got to the part where I was allowed to open the costume menu. I had lost all items collected in the story levels however I still had my saved costumes even though some of them contained items from the story levels, I even had my all DLC. I'm in a horrible situation right now. I do have back-up data but I'm sure if I want to see if all my data had been saved. If someone could help me then please do.

Have you still got some of your old data saved onto the hardrive? If you have, go to the start menu, then your profile bit, and click 'import profile'.

Ahh! Did your PS3 beep 3 times? If so, it might have just overheated at the wrong time making you save corrupt! If this happens again, you might want to get your ps3 checked. This happened to me right before I got the YLOD (yellow light of death) but, fortunately I didnt loose my save. Your best bet is to use your back up data when your sure your PS3 doesnt have any issues with its harddrive. I wish you the best luck!

No reason post. I got ylod too. Sadly I had to get a new ps3. For someone reason my brothers ds broke before the ps3. Then every thing started breaking.:sadsack: Hey how you get emotes on your posts? just wondering.

Thanks for the help but my back-up data has reset itself going back to 2009. I no longer have any data of what I had earned after that. Anyone know what to do? Luckily I have my 100% story data.
