Dream Runner Ep-1 - Pilot

Archive: 2 posts

Somewhere in the universe there is a place that all dreams run to through some sort of funnel. They travel far and wide through the galaxies to reach their final stage of being a dream. They travel to become an idea. Many dreams get lost along the long fly through space and whatnot, but the ones who make it, the ones who become ideas are truly special. Now once it becomes an idea that's a different story. What we're focusing on is the dreams, more specifically the ability to travel through them. So we turn our attention to a little sack. A sack that lives within the destination of the dreams, LittleBigPlanet. A sack by the name of...

DREAM RUNNER

"I ran as fast as I could from the evil squid monster that would eventually destroy the whole city! I ran and I ran until..." A strangely colored sack narrated.

"What'd you do then!?" The crowd of little sacks asked as if it were themselves in the situation.

"Well... I got eaten." The sack smiled proudly

"W-H-A-T!?" The crowd was obviously disappointed.

"Fear not fuzzy little friends!" He was obviously not finished. "I survived the swallow and was then inside of the nasty octopus'..."

"I thought you said squid 'Dream Runner'." A female sack with blonde, wavy hair interrupted with exaggerated quotes around 'Dream Runner'.

Dream Runner blushed. "Well-I uh..." he stuttered

"It's lunchtime." She interrupted again.

"Listen. I have to go so..."

"What? You volunteered for another hour! This Day-care can't run itself!" But Dream Runner was already gone. It was as if he vanished into thin air. "Great! He hit return to pod! That's just great!"

Although Dream Runner did not hit Return to Pod, instead he went into the funnel of dreams in which he is the only sack that can enter. He flew around avoiding dreams because if he touched them he would enter them. He kept on flying for about thirty minutes until he saw a dream bubble that looked darker than the rest. He went closer to investigate.

Upon going closer he realized the bubble had a intense gravitational pull, but he noticed it too late. He was being sucked in too fast and could not control himself. He was freefalling in space.

He entered the level and thought that he was safe.

"Oh crap they didn't place the entrance right yet!"

It was true. He went from freefalling in space to freefalling in a level. He hit a metal material hard. Luckily he's made of stuffing or else the fall would've killed him.

"Where am I?" He thought to himself. He looked down and immediately dropped to the metal material. "I hate heights!" It was true. Dream Runner's only weakness was heights, and he happened to be on a giant plane about 30,000 feet off the ground.

He looked for an entrance into the plane but found none. Suddenly he heard a loud noise from above. Thunder. He was on a plane in stormy weather. He looked up again but got distracted when he heard a laugh. It wasn't one of the sound object laughs either. He looked ahead and saw a huge machine and inside was a sack!

"What the?" he said out loud. He moved forward to hear more. What he didn't realize is that event though the sack could laugh it couldn't talk

"Lololololololol! I will soon be the ruler of alll the cool lvs pages! I will be awesome and live as a..." A speech bubble said. "Legend!" another speech bubble continued. "Now I will change this AWESOME story/platforming level into a boring and hated bomb survival!"

Dream Runner wasn't going to stand for this he had to think of something. While he started thinking he heard an explosion. He went to a cardboard part of the plane and waited for a bomb. One fell and blasted a hole in the plane.

"What to do, what to do! The Captain!" Dream Runner ran to the cockpit. "Oh no!" he yelled at the sight of the unconscious pilot. "I've got to fly this thing out of here!" And he grabbed the controls.
Just got bored and wrote this.
