LBP so badly deserves that number one spot for so many reasons. Well, it could still happen. A lot of reviews still to come. An interesting thing to note, is that there's been a lot DLC promised for the game which in the long should (but probably won't) affect the score. It happens on ocassion though. For example, Final Fantasy XI's score went up from something like 8 to 8.5 after the release of two expansions and a bunch of patches on Gamespot.

Did you look at the user scores! 6.1 WTF! That doesn't even make sense. That's either haters (Xbox360 Fanboys who are jealous that PS3 gets such an awesome game) and people who hate people who rate a game 10 without even playing it. I pay NO mind to user reviews on sites like that.

This threads already been posted by that dreamer guy. Indeed it was, but it was slightly different and this is more up to date! Go LBP, go! GTAIV doesn't really deserve to be top, I'm trading it in for Valkiyra Chronicles at the end of the month.

yeah, Gta 4 is crap, but meh, A lot of companies reviewed it and rated it for a high score, GTA has a big "wow" impression in the first 10 hours, but after that, meh... you see that they left out way too many features in the original GTA games. LBP however, will probably impress us more and more after we play it.

I don't see this getting anything really below a 9/90/4.5. Even Eurogamer gave it a 9, and that's pretty rare for PS3 exclusives.

I'm personally amazed to see GTA VI at number one. Good game, don't get me wrong, but I'd rate Uncharted higher. After completing GTA VI I had no desire to replay the thing, whereas the adventure of Nathan Drake has a ton of pleasurable replay value. And LBP WILL take the number one slot ... just give it time!

I agree, I didn't even finish GTA IV got bored about halfway through and just haven't had the heart to carry on. No matter how good the graphics are I think the game mechanic has got dull. I did hover it over the slot about a week ago but then decided to play wipeout or LBP instead.

GTA is by no means the best game on any system. Personally it's massively overhyped. And that's coming from a Halo fan who is aware of the irony. There are far too many flaws with the game, it's storyline isn't that good, the multiplayer isn't a patch on most. I still prefer the original Saints Row. Can't wait for the second.

I thought the story was the best thing about GTA IV. I thought Nico was a wonderfully developed character for a game (gears of war?), and the cutscene acting was ace i thought. Just a shame the drive here/get armour/drive to location/do mission mechanic is so old for me now.

Don't get me wrong, GTA IV had a good story. It did not have a great story. There were several long, predicatble sections, with little in the way of twist except exactly what you expected. And I'm terrible at guessing what's going to happen next! That was touted as story of the year, it wasn't for me. It was simply overhyped, and in my opinion, reviewed a little too favorably, it certainly isn't the best game on the system in my opinion.

Unfortunately some bad news it has dropped to third well tied second with Bioshock with same score of 96 but due to alphabetic order bioshock comes above Lbp
