Help - My creature goes the wrong way when I add things to it.

Hello...

I'm currently trying to make a creature but I've encountered a few snags.

What I want the creature to do is:

-Travel from right to left.
-Get destroyed when shot with the paintinator.

The creature takes up one thick layer and has small sections on a thin layer, all made of Dissolve. It also has LED lights for eyes. I've given the creature two wheels so it moves along the surface and attached a 'brain' so when it is destroyed the whole thing is gone (not just the dissolve, leaving the 'eyes' on the floor).
At this point the creature travels in the right direction, but as soon as I add the 'Paintinator' health switch thing and attach it to all the dissolve and the brain the creature starts moving backwards instead.

I've tried setting the brain on directional, on/off and I think I set the paintinator switch to backwards at one point too, but it refuses to go any other direction than the WRONG way.

Any idea what's going on?

Thanks!

Try using a winch on either side to help give it a nudge towards the left. You might have to pay around with the strength setting to get it to work properly.2010-07-26 03:23:00

I don't think I can use a winch, as I need the creature to be 'emitted'...2010-07-26 17:19:00

You could just emit the creature with the winches attached.2010-07-27 00:49:00

you should not have to attach the paint switch to the dissolve if the hole thing is a creature. make sure it is all glued correctly (take of creature brain before u glue it all together or the creature brain will die)2010-07-27 03:19:00
