The Comic Book Adventures of Molecule Man!! (LBW7)Stunkel
The Bank has been robbed by your arch nemesis Electric Man!! Until Molecule Man steps in the save the day! Stop Electric Man from fulfilling his further plans for Sack City in this comicbook adventure!
I just published this today a few hours ago. I started working on this July 1st and I really hope that you like what you see . I worked hard on this and I want to thank all of my friends who supported me. Wish me luck in LBW7!!!

Please give as much feedback on this thread as possible so I can perfect the level. Thanks!

Also, is there a limit for LBW7 when it comes to republishing? anybody who knows please answer!

CHANGES IN THE LEVEL ON JULY 27:
I changed it so the woman in the beginning puts her hands down and gives you a reward when you save her from the robber.
I added an arrow in the sewers
I extended the gas right after the clocks so that you can't just simply jump over it.
Plasma balls move slower on the boss
Moved keys to the end
Made it so its impossible not to grab the little chord things by mistake after the boss when you need to pull the levers to destroy the machine
Pegs now disappear when the boss is defeated.

Please tell me if you like these changes if you played the level before July 27th

I'd say yes, get pics up here pronto! That was the best comic book level I've played. Mind you I haven't played that many, but still... your design seems better than what MM did with the marvel pack in my opinion. The frames were really cool, and pretty much made the level for me. Great job and 5/5 for originality!

Check my level "A Realm Forgotten" if you get the time and leave a comment on my thread, Thanks!

Hey I played your level and here's what I thought.

I loved how you really made it feel like a comic. You put panels throughout, used the awesome word stickers from the marvel kit and I loved how it went to your partner or whoever he was supposed to be. The level felt kinda short, but that's probably because of the detail and style you put in the level which I loved. It's great to see how short it takes for people like you to develop these new comicbook-like levels. And you did a great job! :star::star::star::star::star: and <3. Good luck on the project!

If you could give feedback on my level Platformia, that'd be awesome but if your too busy that's fine since Im already working on my next level and it's doing much better then my level platformia. But anyway, if you get the chance, the link to the thread's located in my sig.

I love getting comments like these, it makes me feel really good about my level. Thanks for playing and I'm glad that you liked it! By the way, i didn't use the marvel kit word stickers at all, i made my own, no worries just an honest mistake . And I'm sorry that it was too short, i was going to add a second part to the boss, but to add other stuff to the level, I needed to cut it out. I'm really glad you enjoyed it and I will definitely play and give feedback on your level

Wow, you didn't use the marvel kit? Sorry for the mistake, it's just that you made words like the one that followed the car so well it looked like that was one of the ones that was part of it. Also, it wasn't actually that short, just kinda. Also, thanks that you'll play my level! But beware, it's my first so don't expect it to be any good like yours was. 2010-07-26 18:01:00

I thought this was great, the "POW"' and "VROOM" and the way you made each area look like a panel on the page of a comic book really gave it a wonderful comic book effect as well as making me think back to that old game Comix Zone. Still I think it could have benefitted from a few more thugs to beat up and perhaps a bit of swinging...cuz superheroes like to beat up thugs while swinging.

Great job and a well deserved :star::star::star::star::star:

Oh and it would be great if you could check out my level "The Mine (prologue)"...unless you are too busy making a sequel to this great level...

Well I have decided to make a sequel to this level if I win the LBW7 contest, well I might anyways but it will make me want to add the sequel even more. But if I do add the sequel, I will most definitly add some swinging action in there thank you for the 5 stars, and next time I am on my PS3 I would love to check you your level "the mine" is there a thread that I should give feedback on?

EDIT: nevermind I just checked your started threads I will give feedback when I can

Now this level is super fantastic! You finally got the visuals right even though you always got the gameplay right compare to your other levels and the comic-book style framing is fantastic. The car ride is a blast and the boss battle is cool. Keep it up.
5:star:s and a <3.

If you can, play and F4F "The Hero Chronicles LV5 Glacier Volcano".

I played this level on the cool pages, and I must say this level is truly amazing. It blows Media Molecules levels out of the water. Everything is perfect. The length is great (not too long nor too short). The gameplay and visuals are also fantastic. Great level man, great job!2010-07-27 07:07:00

I'm going to be rather critical on this one as everyone else seems to be surprisingly kind.

- Level keys obsure custom cutout poster/banner. If you must link to your other levels I suggest using the scoreboard for a key dump. Or perhaps spread them throughout the level on a higher ledge to add to gameplay/challenge.
- On the first fall to the 3rd "panel" I got squished to death for no reason.
- The female NPC doesn't say thanks for saving her? No reward? She still looks scared even after I dispatched the robber.
- The player can just jump across the gas instead of using the rope.
- "Get ontop of the boxes!" Please spell check your magic mouths. It cannot be good for the young minds browsing the cool pages.
- How do you survive the first box rise? The boxes push up against metal, and I couldn't jump to any ledges.
- The boss. He looks a bit like mega man. You can just stand in the centre checkpoint and fire, doesn't matter if you die, you just respawn with the gun already equipped with the analog stick the same direction as before you died. The plasma is so fast you couldn't react to it anyway, especially with the circular plasma shooters shooting the same coloured plasma as the rectanglular version above. Shouldn't the rectangular part of the boss have some sort of reaction when it is defeated? (sparks/sound effect/etc) Why do the grabbable pegs continue to rotate once it has been defeated?
The key dropped down to the left on my first play, when I tried pushing it across to the other side, the paint gun would activate and I would lose the grip on the key. Also why doesn't the key dissolve with the lock?
- After the boss I go into the blue core room, and try to grab the first switch but my sackboy grabs the powerline in the back layer. A simple fix would be to raise the core, or change the switches into the middle layer, OR have the door entry in the front layer.

Good stuff:
- Angular piping gives a more interesting look than straight ones.
- The chief (I assume) looks cool in his cutscenes.
- Safe explosion!
- Grabable pegs/brains combo. My favourite part.

It didn't matter how I rated or tagged, as this is on the "cool pages" and will have no effect what so ever.
I do hope you take in my criticism under consideration.
As for the cool pages; With great power comes great responsibility.

Alright I know that you are being extremely critical, and don't take this the wrong way, but most of those are minor flaws that shouldn't matter however some are simple to fix so I do thank you for being so critical. I will definitely fix all of these flaws next chance I get (AKA: PS3 unavailable because of brother) but I'm glad you made it so critical because even the littlest things can make a difference between a 4 and 5 star level. I didn't even think about half of the things you mentioned but I will most definitely fix most of them. Thanks for the feedback

Also some things like the squish death on the first jump I cannot find a way to fix that, I tried so many different things but I think I might have something for it now.
things like just simply jumping over the gas where the rope is, i don't think it makes a difference, the rope is mainly there to help you, but I can always fix that if it bugs you.
As for the key in the boss room, would it be better to just have the door disspear and use no key?
As for the first jump rise on the middle box you can easily jump and grab the middle sponge to reach the floaty piece of wood
I didnt even think about the color of the plasma on the boss thank you though I will change the two

Well you understand but next level that I make I will definitly make sure to look for more flaws as a play test instead of just playing through, I hope you don't take this reply in a negative way at all but mainly thanks for the feedback

Hiya-

I had a lot of fun playing this, your levels have really stepped up in quality over the past few months. This level was very colorful, and it felt a lot like a comic. This time around, I have no criticisms, great job, and good luck in the competition!

I rated the level :star::star::star::star::star:, and I <3ed the level.

Hey man! I just played this level early not knowing what to expect since it was on the "Busiest" page. I was definitely impressed! This level was amazing! I love the comic book theme and everything. The story that you had in the level with "Electric Man" and everything was awesome. It felt like a real comic book to me and I was very impressed.

I gave you five stars a heart and hearted you as a creator. Keep up the good work! And I'll be looking forward to more levels from you!

Wow stunkel! This is just great level!
Good:
+Comicy style: Its fun, not very unique after level kit but still good.
+You don't just show the most epic sides of being a super hero. All the thieves and bad guys were unique in their own way
bad:
-Nothing big, but level is quite fast so it may feel short
Critic: 5 stars brilliant tag. Please play my level The Cellar for return, thank you!

Thanks! I actually started this level July 1st so the marvel level pack wasn't even out yet, no biggie though. I was actually disappointed that Mm used it because I had already started my level, and I was worried that they would think that I stole their idea :/. But anyways thanks for the comment and I will play your level and give feedback ASAP

Hi Stunkel...

Played this level a while ago and just wanted to say I enjoyed it... different from the way I would have approached the use of panels... but it still made the level unique and memorable for me. I think it's a far cry from being better than Mm's and I don't think its even your best... but a cool level all the same... Felt like you'd been MIA, if so... Welcome back, with levels like this you were missed.

I played this, and loved it. Found it on the highest rated page the other day, and was actually really impressed with it - it makes a perfect use of the whole "Comic Book" thing which the marvel pack kinda wanted. I loved the way it was styled in the way of an actual comic book - complete with frames, and onomatopoeias (AKA - The BANG, and POW - just couldn't resist using a fancy long word!) The character design was good, and the visuals were quite simple - and by that I don't mean they were bad, I meant they kept in touch with the whole comic book theme. A very original idea - I wouldn't have thought of it. You should be very proud of yourself - it deserves to be on the highest rated page!
Five stars and a heart - and I don't just five star anything!

Anyway... *cough* ...

I liked the level, I would have done it the same way myself. In fact, I have. I was planning to enter LBW7 with a level with a similar story, similar encounters, I even picked the same material for the bank that's being robbed! Nevertheless, mine's still not done yet, and yours is, so good luck on that competition!
