I don't know if this was posted yet, but in gevurah22's "Power Gloves, Creatinators, and Cutscene Cameras!" Video, (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jUFZrVbnocU&feature=related) You can see a new function at 00:15s. It looks like scissors. Speculation?

My guess is that its similar to the change materials funciton, but allows you to change only part of a block. For instance, if you had a square of glass, you could designate a line/combination of lines and then select one side of it to be wood or something. Or, it could just be a tool that separates an object into two designated pieces. You know, draw a line/set of lines and it cuts it into two. Would make making quarter circles, special triangles and that sort of think much easier. But i presume it is the first one simple because this function wouldn't make sense being under a material selection...

My guess is it is to cut materials in a clean straight line not deleting any of it. That would make breakable objects easier to make.

Yeah, that was my first thought too. The only issue is that it's in the material menu, not the goodies bag menu.
