Draden Train 2Draden6436
This is the sequel to the ps3 classic.
All aboard the Draden Train
Howdo all,
yes the PS3 classic has got a little brother now
The Draden Train original claimed well over 200 hearts and has recently reached 4200 hits and hasn't even touched the busiest page before.
Draden Train is a level that will bring out your competitive side as you must make your way through each and every train carriage to reach the finish board in the quickest time.
Of course in the sequel you won't be competing against others online downside no1 so there is no destroying previous carriages like on the original, the PSP can't take the concept and prefers to lag a bit downside no2 and downside no3 is that you wont be owning to the classic ps3 mgs tune but I've picked a more than equal tune.
This is my last PSP level before I take part in the race for the case comp so I hope that you all like it.
The ultimate win and goal of this level is that you play and like this level so much that you go on and play my ps3 version, that would be epic win
Enjoy and lose hours on this level as you try and top the board

OMG My PSP cannot handle the Epicness!!!
It was lagging left right and centre!!!
But the fact that you actually got this to work on the PSP is unbelievable!!!
Good job!!

Rated 4 stars!!

Hoho lol.
Yeah there's no hiding the lag so I had to mention it in my intro lol.
Trust me I tried all I could to eliminate as much lag as possible, making the strips of land longer, deleting as many wheels as poss it was impossible to wipe but it's still a quality level and I'm glad you liked it.
Might do a third for LBP2, obviously you could play the PS3 version to play without lag
Thanks for the feedback

Hey Draden

Congrats on the spotlight for Sunsets level. As for this second effort from you, hmmm... I never played the PS3 original, but I'm sure it was fun. As is this one, but I feel the lag completely ruins any excitement to be had within it. The obstacles are nice, the concept is cooll, but everything moves in slow motion zapping the very tension you intended with the theme. I breezed through the level with no problems since the dangers move slowly, and are easy to avoid. I gave the level 4 stars overall, but I didn't heart it because honestly I wouldn't play it again in it's current freezeframe state. If you could somehow make it run speedier, I would heart it.
Cheers!

Cheers Kaiju and well done on your recent comp success I must play the level next time I'm near a PS3.
I didn't think the lag was that bad to be fair but I understand that it does takeaway from the race factor, I'll have another pop at delagging and see what happens.

Cheers mate,
I've tried to de-lag it a little more but its not having it.
If you want a non lag run then take a look at my ps3 original.
Its something different for LBP PSP and it shows that it can be done, just not perfectly lol

This level was cool. First thing I noticed was horrible lag, but that's not really your fault.

Story: N/A/10
No story.

Music/SFX Choice: 7/10
Music seemed to fit the fast-paced level that it was, but no usage of SFX

Corner Editing/Material Use: 7/10
It was pretty boxy most of the time, but I guess that kind of fits the theme of a train... Materials looked "trainy" but were kinda bland.

Creatures/Objects: 6.4/10
The train looked okay, sort of bland. And a couple of wheels didn't move. And what was up with the pointless gas under the train???

Gameplay: 9/10
Pretty good. Original stuff. I mean nobody's ever created a convincing scroll like that with the ground as far as I know, I'm guessing you used emitters...? I liked how you had Sackboy jump from section to section.

Overall: 7.3/10 (not an average)
This level was alright. I'm sure the ps3 version works a lot more smoothly and it's probably longer. I can't judge you by how well you transcribed it into psp, because i don't have a ps3 I gave this level :star::star::star::star:.

Thanks val great feedback,
It was the old classic emmiters and rods trick. Yeah I can't reiterate enough that if you like this then head off to the ps3 as well, but I hope this is still a good game in it's own rite and if you don't have the ps3 then that's probably the first time you've ever played a level of that calibre so that's quite cool.
Wheels not moving is an annoyance that can't be fixed, if I move that down a millimetre the other wheel/s won't spin which is obviously annoying.
The gas goes under the carriages because when you're rushing too much you might miss the carriage jump and land on the track so instead of forcing you to retry it'll kill you fairly quickly so you can get back into action, keeps the tempo high and makes you think before you leap I spose lol.
Thanks for the good rating, if you look past the lag its an ideal PSP game so lets hope that maybe a future patch fixes it up a little (very unlikely though )
