a little problem im having with the lbp2 projects and planning threads
Archive: 10 posts
its not a bug im having but why are people planning projects so early? wouldn't it be better too wait until the beta(or the actual release?) before planning projects? i mean like what if something you were planning you have to do a different way in the actual game? im mean like so far theres no playable demos at conventions that anyone can go to(im not sure if ones at comic con). so whats the point of planning projects? ps:i am terribly sorry if i posted this in the wrong thread. | 2010-07-24 16:35:00 Author: supersonic56 Posts: 287 |
There are demos at conventions you can play! Look at E3, and an event in Birmingham this summer - and those are just two examples! | 2010-07-24 16:58:00 Author: standby250 Posts: 1113 |
Spider-jew is at Comic Con right NAO! He's playing LBP2, while i'm not | 2010-07-24 17:34:00 Author: Jonaolst Posts: 935 |

If you watched all of sackinima's you tube coverage than you know about almost all the tools. And even if they refined a tool the overall idea of it will remain the same, so I think it's fine. | 2010-07-25 02:24:00 Author: Unknown User |
It's people getting excited. I think it's ok. But be careful people, without having played the game, one should expect that his plans might not work when playing the game in November... . | 2010-07-25 06:14:00 Author: RangerZero Posts: 3901 |
If anyone's plans don't go right, you just have to wing it. Find a solution around the problem. Think of LBP2 as a giant expansion pack only with new elements added. It will be the same as LBP only a bit complicated (for some) with the new tools such as the microchips that fit logic inside it. It's best to plan early so you won't be left behind in the creators' dust. | 2010-07-25 06:43:00 Author: siberian_ninja15 Posts: 444 |

I'm pretty sure the people who have been pondering projects for LittleBigPlanet 2 WILL have to do their levels differently. Those projecst are still in their early stages, we'll discover new sounds, new musics, new stickers, new materials and a lot of other new stuff that will change those projects. However, even though several things remain unknown, we do know a lot of things. Top-down view, grappling hook, DCS, etc... We can already imagine a lot of things with these three words !
