With the ability to recored a voice with some type of mic and implement it into your level, wouldn't there be a lot of problems with people playing music into their mic? Would these levels be flagged because of copyright? MM should be cautious because record labels don't fool around with this stuff. Just look at youtube, if you add music that you dont "own" into a video your audio gets completely stripped. LBP2 could potentionally become an illegal mp3-file sharing hub.

Actually it will fall into "fair use". You're not distributing, sharing music or again copying. No law can reach you. This is just like putting some official music on your visual creations and upload them to Youtube. This is perfectly legal and fall into "fair use". IT IS possible that a label doesn't want to let you use their music IN ANY WAY but it's quite rare when there's no distribution nor sharing nor copying of anything.
