Sage's Sackboy Art Requests and Webcomic // Requests CLOSED//

Hello everyone! Welcome to my artwork page!

I've been attempting to draw Sackboy for a very long time now, and I just can't get the dang shape of his head! So I've decided to make my own interpretation of Sackboy... (Drawn in Photoshop CS4)

Now I just have so much fun drawing this sackboy, that i'm thinking I could turn this into a regular comic! It would feature Sackboy as he journeys through LittleBigPlanet, he would go through story mode and go online... etc, etc... What do you think? Share your ideas, criticisms, anything! Also feel free to comment on my version of sackboy, any changes, as said before, criticisms, anything.

One day, while watching Zim draw Prince Pixelton's Sackboy I finally found out out to draw sackboy's freakin' head! So after she finished I went straight to photoshop, very inspired, and drew this...

Looks good to me - As for the head, it stumped me for a while too. I found the trick is to keep the jaw area quite angular:

Neither of those were really meant to be funny. The first one was just kind of an "Introducing...... SACKBOY". The second one, really only the end panel was supposed to be mildly humiliating...

But these are just the first two! I am planning on a big scale here.... (Though I usually don't stick with long-term projects... Like someone else it know... /glares at Rock)

Would you like a few redlines for you other work? A redline is when somebody goes over parts of somebody else's drawing with red to show them how anatomy, shapes, etc. work and how to improve. This one's perfect, though.		2010-08-05 08:48:00

There wasn't too much wrong with it, only a few small things.
Always make sure the eyes are as close to the same size as possible. Here's a tip: As you're drawing, flip your canvas the opposite way occasionally. This way, you can see your mistakes much more easily.
Sackboy's fingers should be just a bit thicker, and he should be shorter. The mouth was a bit too small and placed off center, and Sackboy's left leg (the one picked up) needs to be pulled back more behind me so it really looks like he's running.

Well I finally finished another sackboy drawing, unfortunately I really don't like it... Almost all of the anatomy is off and I forgot to crop it... DX

But i've been trying to do a Link Sackboy for quite the time now so, here it is...

On a side note, i'm thinking of joining the fantabulous Mrgenji with doing Sackboy art requests, so what do you guys think? I might have to slow down comic production, but you guys seem to enjoy UltimateClay's comic more anyway. 		2010-08-09 06:10:00

I kinda like the comics... if you had a large series I'm sure it would get some attention... you just need a way to get some top notch jokes in there.
You should make fun of things in LBP like the Shark Survival Levels, the Bomb Levels, and all those levels that are getting copied and put on the cool pages.
Sackboys are always slapping eachother online, slapping eachother into lightning and lethal gas and into pits of fire, spikes, etc.
The time where everyone is dead except you and they're all pressuring you to reach a Check Point Gate or fail miserably

If you play LBP alot you may understand where I'm getting at with this.		2010-08-11 11:33:00

Yesterday a friend very dear to me died... His name, Computer McPuterson... He (along with all of my non-backed up files) have gone to a better place... His cicuits fried unexpectedly, he was quickly diagnosed and was announced dead on power-off...

All I have now is my laptop until we can afford another desktop computer, so I will not be able to make anymore drawings or webcomics until further notice... sorry everyone... 		2010-08-21 03:08:00

BIG EPIC SURPRISE!! Well after some intense thinking time I figured out a way to continue my comics! So here it is, the start of Season 2!

I know it was a short Season 1 but meh, Season 2 is going to be nothing short of "Da Bomb". I will also be getting back on schedule for regular comics.

Thanks for all the kind words guys! I just finished a quick 5-10 min doodle request for UltimateClay, and I thought hey this is pretty fun! So i'm thinking I might do some requests for a bit... (I know Zim and Genji are going "It's fun until you get absolutely swamped with requests")

So yeah just say you want a sackboy drawing done and supply me a picture, I will do drawings for the first 5 people to post their sackboy's.

Oh and this is Clay's... i'll admit I could've done a lot better...

I downloaded the trial for Paint Tool SAI, and I must say it's amazingly smooth... way better than photoshop..
