This level was mostly just to stretch my logic legs, but you might find it intriguing, or perhaps even fun.

Haha, I'd say this was a very enjoyable level. Felt much like a portal-ish game, with your solve puzzle room to procede gameplay. I got stuck for a bit at the very end, but then figured it out, good final puzzle. Overall a fun well-made and polished level.

Please check out my level "A Realm Forgotten" and leave a comment on my thread if you get some time, Thanks!

I certainly like the ideas behind the level, with the focus on puzzles and the portal-esque secretly sinister corporation, but the level has an overall rushed an unpolished feel to it. The puzzle theme isn't used to its full potential and the level is aesthetically bland. The level needs to be much longer, with a large amount of diverse puzzles. Near the beginning of the level, you introduce symbols that represent different states a switch needs to be in. This is a good idea that you could extend to more complicated puzzles.

On a more positive note, I liked the mini-boss near the end of the level and some of the puzzles were fairly imaginative (I especially liked the spinning block puzzle). I can see potential in the overall level theme. If you're prepared to take the theme beyond a simple test of your logic abilities and simply put some more time into the level, this could potentially be a great level. As it stands:

http://i612.photobucket.com/albums/tt210/swanbrown/utility/swanbullets.jpg I didn't get the next- in Sequence puzzle, but just tried all the buttons and got by. I'm not sure if that was intentional or not.

http://i612.photobucket.com/albums/tt210/swanbrown/utility/swanbullets.jpgGreat camera shake on "the room under maintenance

http://i612.photobucket.com/albums/tt210/swanbrown/utility/swanbullets.jpg I like the fact that you can beat up on the microwaves, I just wish they had some nice crashy sounds when they hit the floor.

http://i612.photobucket.com/albums/tt210/swanbrown/utility/swanbullets.jpg the switch next to the Mr, grim head is a tad close. most players are automatically going to tug it back and forth a couple of times. Not that it matters a lot, since there is an Infinite checkpoint right there.

http://i612.photobucket.com/albums/tt210/swanbrown/utility/swanbullets.jpg not bad at all! It Looks great, and the skill curve is very smooth and even.

http://i612.photobucket.com/albums/tt210/swanbrown/utility/swanbullets.jpgI also enjoyed the sound. I gave it a solid 4 stars. it seemed a little short, but what there was, was great!

http://i612.photobucket.com/albums/tt210/swanbrown/utility/swanbullets.jpg I think that this is just the thing for a young player who is beginning to read! well done!

hi sclera. played your level and thought it was good with some devious puzzles, the only criticisms i would have is it should be longer (as it deserves to be) and maybe a splash of colour to be more aesthetically pleasing but if the colour scheme is your style then ignore last criticism lol, if you have time play my MARVEL WARS PT2 level as im having trouble posting it here. thx and keep up the good work2010-07-23 17:02:00

lol. Now, don't take it that-A-Way.

What I meant was that the prompts at the begining of your level are just the thing to get a young player to get used to the idea of reading Directions instead of automatically running like a bunch of lemmings to the right. lol I didn't mean it as a slight at all.

I agree with most of the people above. It was definitely a good level and good concept, but it could be longer, as there are only about 5 puzzle rooms before the boss. I would make it 10-15 rooms, since the rooms themselves don't seem that hard to make. Also, it felt a little bit "unclean" to me. The material you used has edges, and I saw a few of those edges coming out in places that were weird, like along the ground, there would be edge in some places and no edge in others. Last thing, I think the lighting should be brighter in the testing area, before you go into the area you're not supposed to be in, since it would make the surprise of the company being evil a little more... surprising...
Overall, good level. :star::star::star::star:
