So i have a level where i want to make your sackboy hop into a present then popout. So i believe i would go about doing this by putting another board at the bottom. What do i use to make the board jolt up quickly periodically. What would i use I.E. Piston, spring ECT Edit The overall objective is to get the sack to get shot out of the present

You'd probably be best off using a piston set to flipper motion, then a grab switch or sensor switch hooked set to one shot to activate it - at least that is if I've understood you properly!

I do it other way: - Attach piston to platform; - Set it to the quickest possible; - Put sackboy sensor switch on it and set to "direction"; - When the sackboy jumps on it, it extends and launchs you, when you're out of range it goes back to position. EDIT: Nevermind

You'll need a piston (and maybe a spring if the springpad is visible) and a proximity switch. Attach the two boards with the piston. Make sure the piston is stiff and the minimum length should be 0.1. The speed should be under 1.0 seconds if you want your sackboy to go really high. You can either set the proximity switch to direction or one-shot. If you set it to one shot, make sure the piston's flipper switch is going 'in'. Then attach the connector to the rod. Wow, how did I miss all of you posting before me?
