It's very simple, just attach a Creature Brain to the top of a square of DM, stick a Mag Switch to the block, set it to inverted, attach it to the brain, save the block, and emit it from an emitter, at the interval at which you want your points to be granted. However, it'll only give the points to the host, so it's not great for multi-player situations.2010-07-22 23:09:00

This is done with the use of a creature brain which is being triggered, therefore killing it and giving you points. Here's what you need to do.

1: Create a square box (any material - any size, it doesn't really matter, as long as it's big enough for the job)
2: Slap a creature brain on it - again, doesn't really matter whether it's protected or unprotected
3: Put a grab switch on the box, and hook it up to the brain. Set it to One shot, and then set it to inverted (You'll need to do this in pause mode)
4:Now all you need to do is emit it somewhere high above the level, where it cannot be seen or heard. If you want the points to be awarded after the player does something, then hook the emitter up to a switch somewhere in the level.
5: Now when you press the switch, the creature brain box thingy is emitted above the level, and then straight away dies (because the grab switch is set to inverted) giving you points. The more brains on the object, the more points are awarded!

If you still have any questions - let me know!

Hope I helped!

EDIT: Basically what Poptart said, but in more detail.
