Pod Music Player
Archive: 13 posts
Although the nice, calming music in the regular pod is all nice, wouldn't it be better to have a Pod Music Player? It'll be a little radio somewhere in the pod that you can tweak in the Pod section of Popit. You can choose In-Game Story Music like you could in Create mode. Plus, with all the new music in this sequel, you'll have atleast a dozen to choose from! Anyone with me on this? :SH: | 2010-07-22 16:06:00 Author: ThePineapplizer Posts: 769 |
We already have the ability to play music from the XMB while in the Pod or create mode, which lets you play any music you want. And if you really wanted to you could put the LBP soundtrack on your PS3 I doubt this feature wouldn't be transferred over to the new game. | 2010-07-22 16:36:00 Author: Otune Posts: 131 |

Oh. /feels stupid Can other people hear the music as well? :SH: No, only you. There would be tons of copyright issues if they could Although a Pod music player for in-game music that all players can hear would actually be pretty neat. | 2010-07-22 17:02:00 Author: Otune Posts: 131 |
No, only you. There would be tons of copyright issues if they could Although a Pod music player for in-game music that all players can hear would actually be pretty neat. I'd be happy if they allowed us to stream internet radio instead, which would be doable with a limited bandwidth stream. But with an E for Everyone game, the implications of streaming who-knows-what across multiplayer would be a dangerous idea and one that most likely will never happen. I'll settle for streaming internet radio in my pod/create mode. An in-game DJ-type feature would be nice, but there would be those people out there that would pick the most annoying song and put it on repeat. | 2010-07-22 17:11:00 Author: schm0 Posts: 1239 |

I mean you can only choose songs you get from Story Mode. And for the annoying songs, there should be an option to mute Pod Music Player. :SH: | 2010-07-22 17:21:00 Author: ThePineapplizer Posts: 769 |
I mean you can only choose songs you get from Story Mode. Yeah, that's what I meant by in-game music. | 2010-07-22 17:34:00 Author: Otune Posts: 131 |
Yeah, that's what I meant by in-game music. I was kinda curious about your Copyright Issue statement though... :SH: | 2010-07-22 17:40:00 Author: ThePineapplizer Posts: 769 |

Internet streaming would be not an issue, it only takes kbits and game protocol even lower lag is mainly caused by bad host player upload and bad routing (but this may include your ISP), not your bandwith | 2010-07-23 13:06:00 Author: Shadowriver Posts: 3991 |

Not to mention I can't stand what people call "music" these days... Then again, I'm just a crotchety old man. Has anyone seen my cane? | 2010-07-23 20:47:00 Author: schm0 Posts: 1239 |
Thats what i'm saying, You can only choose from in-game music. Not streaming from XMB. Which WOULDNT cause copyright issues. :SH: | 2010-07-23 21:03:00 Author: ThePineapplizer Posts: 769 |

Idk, but everyone keeps saying it would for some reason, so it does! | 2010-07-23 21:19:00 Author: Silverleon Posts: 6707 |
