I'm pretty messed up to be disappointed that it didn't get a perfect 10.

Ah well, I appreciate the game for what it is and that's all that matters. ^__^

Lol theres not much its only 0.5 and I'm a true believer that no game is perfect there will be something somewhere or another which will mean its not a perfect 10 but hey thats great news. But the thing is with the game of this magnitude it would be ahrd to review I mean after all the possibilities of this game is what you set.2008-10-14 00:19:00

Let's face it. The game is not perfect. It is excellent, fantastic, revolutionary, awesome, but not perfect. There are issues and some people will find them a bigger deal than others. At the end of the day it's an amazing game and it is currently second on Metacritic behind the undeserved 98 average received by GTA IV.2008-10-14 00:38:00

Hey...I was spot-on with my IGN prediction! (Although yeah, Australia is notorious at giving lower scores for the high averages, and I think also high scores for the lower averages. At least as far as it's been impressed on me.) For Eurogamer...yeah, a niner is pretty awesome. No matter what, this will turn out to be the best-rated platformer since Super Mario Galaxy.2008-10-14 00:40:00

I found it strange that he didn't like the create mode because he couldn't figure out how to make the right switch for himself. I know he had other grips but it seemed strange to give it a worst score because he wasn't clever enough or had enough time to figure the combination of switches and tricks to do what he wanted.

From what I remember reading and listing to on their podcast he wasn't one of the people that were really excited about the game, and even at times thought he wouldn't like it. I like the idea of making people review games that they might not play normally but that only works if they do that method all the time, but most of the time it doesn't workout. People that do not like certain games end up reviewing them and giving them a lower score because of it. Maybe people that like certain genres of games should only review those I don't know anyways end rant.

Don't forget guys that there is no such thing as a perfect game and a 10 or 100% score does not mean perfection just an outstanding piece of work with very little flaws. For anyone who has played the BETA you know already that this game has a lot of niggles so I really don't think there will be many full marks given.2008-10-14 07:21:00

9.5 is a fantastic rating you guys plus at the end of the day we all will be the final judges for Little BIG Planet!!! And Im telling you by the end of the year Christmas time etc everybody will have this on their list (all the p3 onwners) n the kids that don't have the 3 and go over their friends house will be buggin their parents 2 get this game and the older crowd 2 this is a game to be had for all ages. And soon the whole game world will place this game on a pedstal where it so rightfully belongs! This is coming from a gamer who only been playing sports games on my ps3 (I got last year August 29 on my birthday)cause none of the other games have got my attention but everysince I seen this game pop up in my game informer book last month Ive been watchin beta on youtube like crazy and telling all my my friends and family bout this game. I'm 31 and I feel like kid again man I havent been this excited since my youth when I use to stay up all night playing mario bros 1 2 and 3! but this is new gen and the future of gaming and I know without a doublt even with all it flaws "Media Molecule has hit this one out the park with this one." You have the tools 2 make your own version of a game that will keep envoling with infinite possibilities! This is going to be one of those games that come once in a lifetime! I've never felt so sure of a game that I haven't even played yet but I've done my research and 100 percent sure Me and my family and (yours) will have infinite loads of fun playing n enjoying all that LittleBigPlanet has to offer now and for many years to come... (ps move over Mario Bros theres a new sheriff in town) 10 out of 10 stars!!!2008-10-14 08:51:00

IGN wrote an excellent review. I'm going to watch the video review later. Here's a link (http://ps3.ign.com/articles/919/919111p1.html) to their written review though (I didn't see a link in the thread's first post).

I think he hit some of the things we encountered on the beta right on the nose, and it's funny that it feels like he knew everyone knew this game was going to be awesome so he had to explain what was wrong in the game. They were all fairly minor and I think he did a great job of tempering them with explaining that the game is still really really solid.

I was slightly disappointed by Eurogamer's review, I was almost certain it would get a 10 considering Halo 3 (yes, Halo 3) got a 10. But IGN reviews are slightly harsher so 9.5 is a great score. Very pleased for Media Molecule.2008-10-14 19:19:00
