Trophy Notification

Can we please get an option to turn those notifications off? It doesn't even tell you what trophy you got anyway.2010-07-21 08:31:00

I think it's still a testing period, but anyway, I second Syroc's thoughts when the system will be fully functional.

with the way the points/green activity bar is jumping, it is still not quite fully implemented.
I do think it is worth having, we just need to wait a couple days till it settles down a bit.

I don't know... trophies in a forum may risk to start a bad behaviour of quantity over quality.

It's quite bad that a user's life on the forums is measured with the number of posts.
Aya posts very few, but he's always priceless every time he speaks.

I agree about EXP, the shops and everything else, but I would erase trophies.
Generally the average user is not mature enough to not start H4H-like behaviours.		2010-07-21 09:21:00

Yeah, not really a fan of the trophies and their notification, an option to turn it off would be great.

D4D you post here to boost your day count, so somehow you gain the "more time a member" trophy faster (somehow)
R4R so you can add refferences even tho you already registered.


lol, good thing members have confidence on the admin and mods to keep things in ordeer and stop any weird activity.

Actually, it tells you if it's a trophy or not before you click on it (but I assume you knew that). What I want changed is if:

a) It actually tells you what you got.

You still have to mouse over it to see it's not a message, so the initial "oh I got a message, yay! .... oh... no one loves me really" disappointment is still very much valid. Plus I think you have to click on it to clear the notification down (might be wrong on that). Still, it hardly feels like it's in the same league as the other notifications - which are communications from actual people.		2010-07-21 11:37:00

I also want to add Awards in there.

I keep on getting awards/ removing awards all the time as I switch from bronze to silver poster... so yeah, make it so I don't get a notification every two seconds when I become bronze then silver poster?		2010-07-21 12:43:00

I realize that Trophy-hunting has almost become a new genre of game, and that it's probabbly here to stay, but I'm not 100% convinced that it really belongs in a forum.

Why does "Awards:" appear next to ranks and titles? It can look like it's a part of a title, and do we even need that text at all? You can clearly see the awards.2010-07-21 19:45:00

Can we get rid of the silver/bronze/.gold activity awards, or at least make it so it doesn't change every five seconds? Because the top three in activity keep on getting it, but it keeps on switching, so I've been switching from silver activity to bronze to normal for the past few days now. Wouldn't be affecting many people but the almost insanely active, but seeing the blue notification only to see that I've been demoted to bronze/ promoted to silver the fifth time in a day is annoying ;-;		2010-09-09 00:36:00

When someone gets 100%
That person gets the overdrive trophy
And from there he can no longer get activity awards
Or some thing like that!!
