I feel that we should get some recognition, like a icon that you can put next to your name or something if you played the beta, nothing big, but just a little thing to show people What do you think?

I though we would, but I checked and I don't have the little beta symbol next to my name. I think you get that if Sony invites you personally. I meant in the game though.

Neither does giving the first week customers a prize. that just boosts sales. Then again, a beta in itself doesn't help the community... But everyone has an equal chance to buy the game in the first week. The beta wasn't open to anyone. Anyways, I think participating in the beta is reward enough, but I don't mind getting a bonus out of it. I just don't see it as that good of an idea.

I don't think we deserve anything massive, but maybe I don't know, just a little logo, maybe just a circle with a "B" in it next to our names. Meh, like you say, I suppose that being in the beta itself is a reward.

the beta was more of a clever-publicity-stunt-demo then a beta. They won't do this because it was too open, and everybody will have the badge I don't think its ever been done before either... Have to agree with Linque

Wasn't getting to play the game enough of a reward in itself? that's the way i see it. it wasn't a true beta anyway, a TRUE beta requires lots and lots of forms to fill out, bug reports to be sent, and specific amounts of time that you have to play, cerain tasks have to be completed, etc. this was more of a hype starter than a beta.
