Computer Won't Read DVDs From My DVD Recorder. Help?
Archive: 6 posts
Okay, I've really wanted to record LBP videos again lately, but it's been one problem after another... (Yes, for the whole 10 months since I've posted my last video...) Basically, the problem now is... Whenever I record an LBP video onto a DVDRewritable (Not sure if that makes a difference) using my DVD Recorder, and put it into my brother's computer's DVD Drive, then try to open it or rip it, it crashes windows. (Vista...) I can try accessing it any way, but it'll always crash windows. Every. Time. It's annoying... Does anyone have any idea why this could be happening? I've also been wanting to make an animated avatar for this site straight from the game since I've gotten a profile upgrade... | 2010-07-20 02:23:00 Author: KlawwTheClown ![]() Posts: 1106 |
Have you finalised the disc? | 2010-07-20 10:21:00 Author: Rabid-Coot ![]() Posts: 6728 |
Have you tried using another program? If you haven't I suggest you try VLC media player - its free and plays almost any type of format. | 2010-07-20 12:21:00 Author: theamilien ![]() Posts: 485 |
Have you finalised the disc? I believe so. My DVD Recorder makes me finalize the disc before ejecting it. I think. I'm doing everything I used to do when I made videos. Have you tried using another program? If you haven't I suggest you try VLC media player - its free and plays almost any type of format. I've tried opening it in a bunch of programs, including a $70 video editing program I got for my birthday, (Fine, it was on sale, but it's still good!) and even when I right click on it in My Computer, it crashes! I need to rip the DVD to an MP4 file. I think. | 2010-07-20 17:40:00 Author: KlawwTheClown ![]() Posts: 1106 |
I'm doing everything I used to do when I made videos. Could it be the disc perhaps? It's probably unlikely but maybe your computers having a hissy fit with the disc? | 2010-07-20 18:12:00 Author: theamilien ![]() Posts: 485 |
Could it be the disc perhaps? It's probably unlikely but maybe your computers having a hissy fit with the disc? Hmm... Maybe... Now I just need to find another disc to test. ![]() | 2010-07-20 18:15:00 Author: KlawwTheClown ![]() Posts: 1106 |
