I wrote this a while back, and am finally publishing it! Okay, i have it... somewhere else... but I want my audience captivated. Is there a way to delete comments? Yes? No? Ughh... Never Mind. ----------------------------------------------------------- Introduction: Media Molecule - ???’s Point of View- I looked around, drowsy from sleep. Where was I? I held out a blurry brown thing. Straining, I seperated little dots of brown. What was this thing? I blinked a couple times. My vision began to clear out. The small brown object soon got bigger. With a small strain of muscle, or in otherwords, fuzz and cotton stuffing, I unfurled the brown dots, and they grew in length. Where was I? Who was I? What was I holding? Nothing clicked at all. How I could think alone suprised me. At this rate, being able to think in full words, sentences, and ideas was astounding. My vision began to clear further. I could see. I blinked once more, and with the final clearing of the sleep blurriness, I realized what the brown thing was. My Hand. I felt rather foolish. But would could you expect. I started putting two and two together. With my newfound vision, I observed my surroundings. It was very dark. There was little I could identify. There were flashes of red and orange, and a blackish floor, in front of me. A small, clear sphere with a blue glow, and a small platform branching off of the black floor. I glanced to my left. There was a round outline of white, with a symbol in the middle. Other than that,I couldn’t see my own two feet. Which reminded me, where were my feet? I was so busy pulling the strength to sit up, I couldn’t even find those. I glanced down. Now it made sense. The black floor was burning wood. The flashes of red and orange were the flames licking up off the ground. To my left, a regeneration device, or checkpoint, in front, a platform to scale this obstacle. The sphere was LittleBigCurrency, or, what the lower human forms reffered to as, point bubbles. This all clicked in because... of course... my foot was on fire. One mystery solved, but another one opened. Who was I, and where? -???’s Point of View- I looked over the master computer. Different colors flashed across the screen. I sighed. Progress readings went up .1% a day. This was boring. But soon, it’d be worth it. With a slow, but dramatic movement of the arm, I opened the window. The readings were blue. Phase-1 was 27% ready. My reckoning would be at hand very soon. -???’s Point of View- I thought about the situation I was in. A burning foot would soon spread up. This wouldn’t just paralyze every piece of fuzz in my left foot. It would kill me. I looked left and right. The only point of interest was to my left. The checkpoint! This would save me! I had to get inside, or who knows where I would pop up, or what I would forget. If I died, the SBGRP would leave a great sense of mystery lingering in me. And I had enough of that. The SBGRP! Of course! I swapped backwards and forwards on the three layer Z-Axis. Where the gong sound was, I was left clueless. Then it occured to me! It was already activated! I felt foolish. Time was running out. The fire was creeping up my knee. Then, It reached the area between my upper leg, and my stomach. If you know what I mean. I cried in pain. In a flash, I switched to the ground. I had to reach the fire. It was the only way. I rolled over. One more meter. Another roll. One more roll, and I was home-free. I used the last of my strength to pull a roll out of me. I let out a breath, and the last thing I saw was a flash of orange and red. I just hoped I would know what those flashes were when I woke up. ------------------------------------------------------- Well, It's a little serious for LBP, as a great and wise reviewer once said, *cough* narutokhinuyasha *cough*, but Trust me, the rest of the story is very fun... and stuff. Umm, gotta go.
