Anyone can enter, all you have to do is enter a sig by posting in the other thread (With the sig in the post) before 25/07/10, 20:00 GMT. Results will be publicised on 31/07/10, and the next SOTF will start on 01/08/10 The SOTF occurs once every two weeks. For the first week, you will be able to make and enter a sig. For the second week the judge carefully selects what he/she believes is the best, and the winner will be given 150 XP. Nothing that wouldn't be considered 'family friendly.' That includes nudity, profanity, or anything else like that. Artists can post more than one sig each, but you aren't allowed to post variations of the same sig. You must enter a sig before the deadline (01/08/10) or your sig will not be judged. Maximum size for a sig is 500 pixels in length by 200 pixels in height. Anything larger than this will be disqualified. No ripping! All sigs submitted must be your own! Sigs must be made specifically for the SOTF. No premade sigs allowed. Judges can enter, as long as they are not judging that round. Obviously. More Sigs= More fun Judging Some people have a lot of time and somtimes people get lucky when making sigs and they just somehow turn out good. It may turn out for the better or the worse. We will see how it works out the first couple SOTF

Well generally people (Like me) put more time into sigs than avatars, and seeing as it is a sig competition I thought it would be better to use sigs. But in answer to sig limit, yeah, I think three should be a maximum. If you enter 30 you obviously haven't spent enough time on them to be decent.

Oh man, I remember doing SoTW in KHIforums. The sigs in that forum are just straight out wicked, http://forums.khinsider.com/signature-week/ in my opinion the sigs in this forum are prettg bad compared to KHIs' GFXR's :s

I make my sigs in 15 minutes sometimes less :o If you make sigs that fast they're never going to be great. When you see the really fantastic sigs, the artists that made them generally spend a total of over 5 hours on them. A lot of my sigs have taken a long time. Now, to make a sig... Your activity will have dropped because the system was seeing how active you'd been since XP was implemented. If you were online and posting when the changes were made, it would have put you as very active, but I'm guessing you signed out so it brought it down dramatically. I think... You can never have too many judges! I'm sure we can sort something out. Oh man, I remember doing SoTW in KHIforums. I would expect that kind of sig to be on a GFX forum, not a KH one. And yeah, the sigs on this forum are never going to be great, this is a forum for Little Big Planet, not sig making.

Still, if the skill level for a SoTW is so high, then newer members would have no chance of winning at all. Of course, if I enter they'll have no chance but that's beside the point. See, Inanimacy ain't the only on that can do this.

But still, 5 years ago the sigs were still pretty wicked. and lulz Also, I dont really think its quite fun if we have a size limit :/

Where have you been hiding? I've not seen you do anything like this! And the size limit can be removed if we have an LP theme or something, but most people on this forum don't know what an LP is, never mind how to make one, so I doubt we'll have a theme like that anytime soon.

I was sorta wanting Resistance and Alex to help me Deadline is 25/07/10, but for all you silly Americans I guess it's 07/25/10. Let's say the deadline is... 20:00 GMT, which would be 12:00 for you. A sig shop might be a good idea, if you look at the current sig exchange it's a bit messy, seeing as half the artists are dead and the OP is months out of date. Me and Alex are trying to revive it though. :/ EDIT: In fact, why don't we make a premium sig shop? Like, you can go to the sig exchange and get one for free or come to us and spend XP, but we make better sigs? Of course, I need to get better before that.

I might submit a second. And i'll do a sig shop for xp, but i'm gonna try and keep doing the sig exchange as well. 1 week for judging? I can finish judging today, theres only like 8 entries. i could take them all and comment on each individual one and be done with it in a hour tops, since im a fast typer. So do we keep letting entries in or do i judge it now?
