Level icon visibility problem!

| I've has this problem ever since I first started creating in LBP over a year ago and it hasn't stopped yet. When I set level icon (doesn't matter if level is on moon, published or unpublished, etc) it shows up foggy and not clear. Yet when I view the icon from in create mode or play mode via 'about level' it shows clear. Note that I am not referring to icon proportions/stretching. Just icon clarity. Everyone I know including levels I see online have clear icons. This foggy issue happens on both of my profiles, sometimes so bad the icon pic is almost completely white barely able to see pic. Also when I view one of my profiles via another they show foggy. So I know it appears that way to everyone not just me. I've even had friends confirm it. I also noticed some days the icon suddenly shows clear, then back to foggy for sometime. How do people take there icon photos? Well I mean I'm sure everyone has there way. But most ways seem to work. | This has happened to a level on my moon and a level I published locked, except the icons don't stay blurry, they alternate between being foggy and clear. Have you tried uploading your levels on a friends PS3? | 2010-07-27 21:02:00 Author: lifeiscrapislife  Posts: 396 |
| try this: 1: turn off all of the fog 2: edit the lighting (in the global tools and adding lights and such) to make the letters or the main focus 'pop' 3: go into front view (this helps make it look better but if for some reason you want an angel then don't do this) 4: take the photo but make it slightly bigger than u think it should be (1-3 big grid units that's what worked for me) if none of that helps then i got nothing | 2010-07-27 21:40:00 Author: slidedrum  Posts: 189 |
