'LittleBigFallout3' - Escape from Vault 101TheSpartanDon
You must escape Vault 101 but what mysterious adventures are there in the Capitol Wasteland. Based on Fallout 3 by Bethesda Game Studios.
Hello,

This is an simple level purely based on Fallout 3. You'll come across the odd bit of platforming and fight Radroaches and solve some simple puzzles. The level isn't designed to be especially hard.

An Few Notes...

- This level was co-created with 'callum2702' who is an really cool guy, the level was mainly his idea which he started on. I came and helped early in the development and we both did an equal amount of work on the level.

- This isn't supposed to be an 'Super Accurate Detailed Remake' of Fallout 3, You won't see Amata or very many other characters. The story has been slightly tweaked to fit the level

- We didn't make the Vault Door, we won it on an level which gave you the door among other Fallout themed goodies to make an Fallout level. So don't say we stole it because we didn't.

- The Vault took up a lot of thermometer space so the Wasteland is basically an Wasteland and is the reason why the level is cut off where it does.

- Part 2 is already in development and is about 50% done, depending on popularity/feedback will factor on whether that ever gets released.

Please be honest with the feedback but please bare in mind that this was designed to be simple and easy for players to beat. So don't give harsh feedback saying it was too hard unless you really think it should of been harder.

Please <3 too, Thanks

BTW the title is pretty long and confusing so just search: '@TheSpartanDon' if you can't find it

I'll play it as soon as possible, the pics shows some flaws but I guess I'll have to wait to play it 2010-07-16 22:51:00

I liked it
I can understand why the wasteland would be fairly empty if the vault took up a large thermo amount, so I won't critique that. I would say that I think the next level should be ONLY be in megaton. This would mean you could spend maximum thermo making it look good and hiding little sidequests (Leaking pipes etc.)
It's up to you really. Either way, a good start to the series, 4 stars and a heart, can't wait to see more

Thanks Fish94

I appreciate the positive feedback. Right now the second level includes 'Megaton' in which you will do side quests (like get Moriatry his caps) and what not. Then you can leave megaton and travel to the Metro Tunnels. Depending on how much Thermo Megaton consumes will decide whether you'll actually go inside the tunnel or the level will end at the tunnels.

Thanks again for the feedback and ideas for Megaton.

What level do you want feedback on?

hello, first of all, I love fallout3 so I was happy to play a level dedicated to this beautiful game. The first section of the game is poor checkpoints, you should put a few more and one more paintnator. the part where you open the door is beautiful. I rated :star::star::star::star: stars2010-07-18 13:53:00

Hey, I played this level and it was pretty good. There's some things that troubled me though.

+I like the vault cave door logic where you blow up a piece of the ground to squeeze through.
+I like the ad advertising the vault with vault boy.
-There are some visible sensor switches. I don't know it was intentional but it doesn't seem so.
-At the part where the big vault door opens, I can jump behind the door and progress with the level without grabbing the switch to move the door.
-I'd like to see some more shooting outside of the vault and more enemies.

Looking forward to part 2! Private message me when it comes out will ya? I love Fallout 3.

Edit: I didn't find it hard at all. I aced it without even trying lol.

Thanks for Feedback,

Bingo Player: Thanks for the Feedback, I agree that the checkpoint placement in the Vault can be greatly improved. I'll look into it (and add another paintinator)

MrTran: We'll try to include more enemies in Part 2. I don't think those Sensor Switches were intentionally either so I'll take an look and see if I can find them. It is an really easy level but at the first swinging part, if you don't have an power in the swing you'll find it difficult to get onto the ledge. Also the Vault Cave Door happened completely by accident, It was originally just going to be planks of wood you blew up. But they wouldn't stand up unless I glued them down. So I put explosives that you had to shoot to blow the door open. We blew up the ground rather than the wood but I liked the idea so we decided to keep it .

Any particular Level you would like to me to F4F or do you just want me to pick one at random?

Funny how things turn out with the wood. Doesn't exactly follow the story but good gameplay nontheless. Gotta love opening doors with explosions! Hmm, I'd like to F4F my most recent level Stop Finding me! NO ENTRY. Any constructive criticism is appreciated .2010-07-20 18:13:00
