Alright, so I've been wanting to create a 1984-themed level, pod, and costume for a while now. I simply don't know how to go about it, though. If I set it in a prison-like apartment, like the movie did, it would seem a bit bland. I also don't know how to get the "Big Brother is watching" feeling in my level. This will be my first one, so any help, tips, or ideas on level creation, preferably applying to this specific level, would be wonderful! Thank you and much appreciated! Also, I want it to be just a bit creepy, so those big bug-eyes that follow you around won't work too well.

I can think of a million ways to spin this having done a similar level myself (it's there rotting on my moon with all the others). My main tip - Stylise. Just pick the key recognisable points and craft them into something LBPish.
