I think many people have heard of new spammer creator deadmn, well he's claiming his canyons level got spotlighted on lbpc. So... i wanted everyone to know and maybe stop this kind of lies cause he's not the only one claiming spotlight. Many people tend to do this because they think people who actually gets an spotlighted level are good creators, and he did it just to get hearts.

What you do have to realise is the fact that just because the LittleBigPlanet community is messed up, it doesn't mean ours is. You don't need to strive to be in the cool pages- just put up a thread in the Cool Levels forum section thing saying "Hey, check my level out, it's super awesome with rocket cheetahs and wooden platforms and little pinch of story in there to finish it off". Hopefully, you'll get some replies, and plays, and maybe even a glorius heart. It won't be a massive amount of plays nor hearts, but I find some commitment from the community to my levels always makes me feel like I've accomplished something nice. In a way, we're a completely different category to the one the LittleBigPlanet community is. And that category that we're in has a one-word name- AWESOME.

Especially ferrrch's level; The one with the wooden platforms... Not sure about the rocket cheetahs though... Also, that "H4B" thing was a joke, the guy/gal said so himself/herself in the level description. Even though deadmn's canyon adventure level was okay, and his savannah adventure ones were pretty stellar, saying he got spotlighted on LBPC is low. Really low...

Exactly. It is just that, a shame. My dad always had a saying - "The truth will always come out". These frauds will be found out in the long run. The trick in the meantime is to not let the actions of others affect your enjoyment of the game. So they tell a lie to get plays? How does that hurt you? All it does is ruin their integrity and their reputation when they are eventually found out. The world is full of dishonest people, but it's also full of very good, honest people. Don't worry yourself needlessly over the actions of the few bad apples, unless it impacts on you directly. That's my advice, for what it's worth. There are much more worthy (and urgent) causes if you're looking to get riled up about injustice.

It's actually the level's title where it says it got spotlighted on lbpc, and the worst part is that he had received comments telling him congratulations for the spotlight. The level is on 2 page for now. Ohh and i know there are many more life injustices but i never thought a such nice place as LBP community would've change so much.

Fascinating.. are they even a member here? Seems there are dishonest and wacky people regardless. Some of them also play LBP. Like how many with real water levels did we see way before the POTC pack ever came out? They got tons of plays.. even got tons of hearts!?!? They also got tons of hate, but some join in the bandwagon because they like to be around people of notoriety regardless if it is negative or not. Look at the mess the cool pages are now... not much different. Reasonable people see it and just ignore it, but seems others think it is cool and either want to join in or think they are "awesome" regardless that we know better. Real life is not much different I'm afraid.

Just let it go and enjoy the levels that our fellow LBPC brothers and sisters have created.

Not changing subject, but on the Cool Pages thread, can you create a post for a level not on Cool Pages? Back on topic, I agree with Meta-Armour. If he's not on LBPC (which he is now) then he wouldn't know what spotlighting is. Even now he keeps going on bout 'how much he wants an LBPCSpotlight'. He asked me how and I said 'I dunno, I haven't had one' Also he says ChristianReid09 said he had one. Or it was Obsessedwithcars (who is OBSESSED with cars ) who said

I was thinking of making a level listed as "notlighted" by LBPC....because I think that is as close as I will ever come. But I am too lazy...well that and I am super busy...not a good combination. I did attempt to get some extra plays and feedback by trying to get my levels tested by the spotlight crew...but the closest I got was one person replying to an email. If anyone is looking for a person looking for feedback I still am...I know it is off topic.
