everyone knows that logic isn't really my forte compared to visual design and character creation. I thought that I'd make an attempt to help the community with a number of levels based on Character design. The series will be set out into three separate platforming levels levels, and a possible youtube series, i haven't decided. Character Cool Down The Basics Character Cool Down Intermediate Character Cool Down Advanced the level will offer key information on materials, shapes, stickers, thermo and the relevant tools and techniques to make a successful character and go over the pros and cons of each. At the end of the level tutorials will be provided on a number of different characters providing a stage by stage development using the techniques they've just learnt and a sticker template of each shape will be provided for the creator who can go away and make their own character then put it together. it is a learning based level providing creators with the information they need to make their own creations instead of moaning about prizes etc... so would this be a good idea or am i just wasting my time with this? if the first series is successful other visual series will be provided. the reason i said "cool down" is that i want to make information easier to process for the unexperienced creators in the community and possibly lead them through the steps...

Brilliant idea, I learnt a lot when you helped me making that character head! So I guess that the rest of the community will learn a lot of new stuff as well, if you make these levels

This sounds like a good idea, especially for those who use pre-made costumes. I might give it a shot. I need to make a pineapple outfit without the POTC Pineapple sticker. Curse you Cursed Bay. :SH:

I think this is pretty tight! Now, would you be undergoing this all on your own, or would you get some helping hands, kinda like the logic pack? Personally, I think it'd be way cool to get some of the top character design people (luos-desruc comes to mind) to all collaborate on this!

This sounds like a great idea. But... Could you post the tutorials with pictures and stuff kind of like the logic packs, just not as extensive, and put it on the forums? I know it is asking a lot but it would help out with people like me. (Who sadly don't have wifi) If you could do this this would b great! Thanks! Ps: Definetely a good idea.

Great idea which would be very helpful for me as I'm not too good at character design. I'd prefer them as LBP levels though as I'm not really into trawling through in-depth tutorials on forums or watching youtube.

I will be searching for a handful of "trusted" creators who can wow me with the character design skills i have a few in mind but they will need to approach this thread... Alot of creators find it difficult to capture true human form (sometimes myself) and I have never mentioned or shown this particular technique TO ANYONE including my friends this will feature in the advanced section of Creator Cool Down... when it comes to creating a prefect face I use the technique called..... you'll have to find out
