It's Getting To Me... (Disclaimer: Not responsible for any mental problems formed.)

Archive: 28 posts

You remember those two trailers for LittleBigPlanet that were satires of wildlife/nature shows, all about Sackboys (or lest we forget, Sackgirls)? Well, I think I've seen them one too many times. The voice of the announcer comes into my head and sticks in it half the times I read "LittleBigPlanet" and pretty much every time I go to these forums. And then I find myself imitating his voice and saying out of the blue, "In LittleBigPlanet..." followed by something completely random, but LBP-related.

Also, the voice of the game's narrator happens to be my mental voice when I'm reading books. Which is rather odd (http://www.xkcd.com/462/). In a cool way.

At any rate, are there other people with similar afflictions, or am I just crazy as usual?

It's spreading... MUAHAHAHAHAHA...er... *Cough.* Uh...in that case, I've put up a warning. Let's hope it prevents people from coming in here.

In the meantime, I suggest everyone infected take a lime and a coconut and mix it all up, then drink 'em both up and call me in the morning.

You should read the Hitchhiker books, they really are quite good.

And yes, Stephen Fry is awesome.

There are already too many voices in my head to notice two more. I can't however, get "My Patch" out of my head. All the voices are singing it. It's a great choir, but the song needs changing now.2008-10-13 08:45:00

I wasn't thinking of that at all - until now.

OMG I've had this same problem for about two weeks now! I keep imagining a bunch of sackboys running around lip-syncing to that song smacking each other around. I can't get it out of my head!

I'm tempted to tell you to give into that voice Maltay, but I don't know where abouts in England you live. Rabid is close enough that I wouldn't encourage that with him, but Creative is far enough that I'd risk it...2008-10-13 16:21:00

I don't have voices in my head, as you can see, I'm a Whale, so at least that problem can't have an effect on me. 2008-10-15 01:40:00

Great, Great books. The recent movie did it NO JUSTICE! The old bbc series was waaay better.

Back to topic. Thank you very much Mark D. Stroyer! I hear the announcer questioning why I'm not dreaming and sending my creativity to the LittleBigPlanet! Which, btw, I've been doing a lot lately.
