LittleBigPlanet Music (glitch)

I found a flawless way to actually play your pod music in levels. Not create mode, when you're actually playing a level. This is what you do: 1. Play a song in your pod. Any song will do. 2. Start loading up a level, press the start button to bring up the menu. 3. Quickly goto the music player and click on BROWSE ALL. 4. When you are in the XMB menu where you select a song, look at the bottom left of the screen where the little spinning arrows/globe is. Wait until theres a little running sackboy. When you see that, press circle to close the xmb music menu. 5. If done right, the music should still be playing! This was found by ME! | 2010-07-14 18:02:00 Author: m4tr1x35 Posts: 50 |

Here is a question: Does the song in level overlap with the song from your XMB menu? | 2010-07-14 18:09:00 Author: CYBERSNAKE Posts: 280 |
siccckkkkkk i gatta try this out | 2010-07-14 21:23:00 Author: Meta-Armor Posts: 80 |
Hey it really works! The timing has to be very precise though. The music playing in the level overlaps with the music player, so you have to turn off the music in play mode in the audio settings to hear the music clearly. Cool find! | 2010-07-15 00:46:00 Author: Gilgamesh Posts: 2536 |
This one's rather old dude, not discovere by you either, mybe re-discovvered tho. It was found about the same time the other way was found i think. The other way to listen to music while playing a level is to play your music and what not, just play it, select the level and right after you select it your music will fade out like normak, then press the PS button to go to the XMB menu, just leave it there for a couple of minutes after a while the music will start playhing again, and when you exit the XMB you'll start the level with the music. Only reccomended for long lasting levels, as it'd be pointles waiting 4 - 5 mins to start the music. yeah, pretty time taking. But both methods are rather old m8. | 2010-07-15 00:58:00 Author: Silverleon Posts: 6707 |

Every time I hear about a new glitch, you always come up and say it's old. Everytime! You should just create a list of all these glitches instead of just waiting to disappoint people by telling them their discovery isn't one. | 2010-07-15 07:23:00 Author: warlord_evil Posts: 4193 |

This is brilliant! No more scary levels anymore as I blast out happy music! And no more boring cheerful levels as I blast out my epic Crysis music! | 2010-07-15 07:50:00 Author: warlord_evil Posts: 4193 |

You should just create a list of all these glitches instead of just waiting to disappoint people by telling them their discovery isn't one. Or just stop raining on people's parades all together. Who cares if it's already been discovered? I didn't know about it and now I do. I'll probably never use it (I've never been a fan of putting my own music into games--it never seems to fit), but it's cool to know. | 2010-07-15 09:36:00 Author: Sehven Posts: 2188 |
Cool find. If you're playing with others, can they hear the music too? | 2010-07-15 14:07:00 Author: Ungreth Posts: 2130 |

Nope they can't. Good thing too, people would just use it to Rickroll if others could hear it. | 2010-07-15 14:11:00 Author: Gilgamesh Posts: 2536 |
Wow! Using this I got a taste of LBP2! Kind of... I played Sleepy Head by Passion Pit (LBP2 trailer music, which is also a music object in LBP2)... It didn't really fit the story levels so much though... | 2010-07-15 19:17:00 Author: Doopz Posts: 5592 |
Cool find! I'll just stick to using my iPod dock though | 2010-07-15 19:46:00 Author: GreyMRP Posts: 588 |
Lol np people...Just to point something out... your music keeps on playing unless you press pause, fast forward, or rewind in the music player. (Not skip track) And unless you choose another song from browse all, you gotta do it over | 2010-07-21 15:47:00 Author: m4tr1x35 Posts: 50 |
With this glitch, you can now play anposteller's Post-apocalyptic (https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=15755-Post-apocalyptic-**SPOTLIGHTED**) whilst listening to R.E.M. - It's The End Of The World As We Know It (And I Feel Fine) (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bmxyj6iInMc). Pure excellence. | 2010-07-21 21:52:00 Author: trip090 Posts: 1562 |
Hey guys, is it just me, or did that latest PS3 update cause the glitch to stop working? Before I downloaded the update, I could do it perfectly and get it right every time. Now, when I try the trick, it won't keep playing, it'll stop when you enter the level. It might just be me, but I'm wondering if this is happening to anybody else. | 2010-07-27 22:43:00 Author: TheZimInvader Posts: 3149 |
thats strange same thing happing to me. but i found an new glitch that freezes the music player so it willl countune but i forgot. Really?! Aw no...I guess the patch fixed it, then. :/ I froze the music player a couple of times using the glitch this thread is about...But it's obviously not going to work anymore if it's been patched. | 2010-07-29 05:08:00 Author: TheZimInvader Posts: 3149 |
