| Just to clear up this small misunderstanding, that some of you seem to have your knickers in a twist about. mrv only started the Marvel costume thread to help people and show them the new costumes as they came out. He clearly stated in the Pack 1 thread that he would be doing the same for Pack 2. He isn't doing it for rep at all. I am sick of people misconstruing comments made by people on this forum. His suit is mostly a new skin (w/ exposed zipper and stitching) and 2. Those eyes are part of his mask (I think), and the only other full-face mask I've seen that can get even close to that is the Rorschach mask. Besides... | I have hope for the Human Torch. It doesn't seem like they're going with the home-made look like the second animal pack, so we should expect it to look decent at least. I'm hoping it looks kinda' like Jackjack from the Incredibles when he went all fiery at the end. I dunno' though: so far the only firey objects (other than the flame lethalizing effect) have been the Statue of Liberty's torch and the torch deco from the Potc pack, both of which used static flames. If the HT costume looks like that, it's gonna' suck. Also, for the record, while I appreciate having the pictures posted where they're easy to find, I agree with MisterV. He was doing us a favor by posting the first pack and it was clear that he intended to continue, so sniping it before he got around to it was pretty tacky. If anybody should be accused of doing it "for the rep" I would think it'd be the tc. | I'm sorry I made the thread now. As I said to MrV, I hadn't seen the post saying he would post the other costumes in a new thread. No one had posted a thread specifically for the Pack 2 pictures so I thought I might aswell post it. Just trying to be helpful... P.S. The Human Torch has been added to the first page. Don't worry about it. I'd been checking on the Marvel site for the last 2 days at regular intervals for the new costumes but they were very slow putting them up. You must have just got in before me when they did appear. I'll let you carry on doing the rest of the packs now to save any confusion. Thanks. As for these costumes Spidey looks cool but It's difficult to tell just what The Human Torch is like properly. I suspect that one will be just a coloured skin and a bit disappointing because i don't see any way they can actually have flames on the costume. The picture looks like it's been 'faked' to make it look a bit 'flamey' LOL. BTW where did you get the 'Human Torch' pic? Yeah, from the looks of it, the Human Torch's flames look just like the Sacktue of Liberty's torch, so don't be too surprised if they're static. Seems that his skin glows, though! [edit] Thanks Outcast: that was fast. Not terribly impressed with the Torch's look, but it's not too bad. I still hope the skin takes stickers well (seriously doubt the flames will). I'm not at all thrilled with the flame cutouts just being stuck on him, but what can you do? Tbh, the silhouette alone sorta ruined Ghost Rider for me. It looks like he has a freakin' enormous head and the flames look even worse than the Infamous costume's "foil balls". | Which of the silhouettes was Ghost Rider? It's probably the one in the centre of the teaser picture with the flame-shaped head. I can see the HT flames being really useful in LBP2 to have sackbots on fire, perhaps in a disaster level. It's just in my nature to get to stuff first before other people can respond. From my observations, Ghost Rider's silhouette is the 1st to the right from the center (the one with the absolutely enormous head). I'm pretty sure that no other Marvel character has odd, gargantuan spikes on their head (which would be flames, in this case). They look solid, which would be a definite turn-off in my book. Let's hope that's not the case... And, for tomorrow's costume, I'm guessing either The Punisher or Elektra will be revealed. | Ghost Rider's silhouette is the 1st to the right from the center Oh, right. I suppose if I'd actually tried to figure it out I would've recognized him. Yeah, those flames are really big. Maybe they're translucent 3d flames father than the cutout looking things that HT has? If not, they're gonna' look freakin' terrible. | Hmm, I have a few concerns about these costumes. I do like both of them, but I am curious about the following... 1. Can you remove the Fantastic 4 Logo from the Human Torch costume? 2. Will the Spider-Man skin be useful? It looks like they have blue too, instead of just red (limiting the uses). I don't expect anyone to answer these questions, just to discuss. | I actually really liked the Ghost Rider movie. I saw it in the theatre and thought it wasn't too bad, but then I saw it again when the dvd and bluray released and I enjoyed it even more. It's one of those movies that had to grow on me. Iron Man was the same way. Anyway, I've never read the comic, but always thought he was awesome looking. | Does no one like the hand-made theme that Mm does regularly with the costumes? Don't forget, LittleBigPlanet is an ethereal landscape formed by the dreams of humans! Everything is supposed to reflect our childhood innocence, so everything looks tone-down and very cute. I, myself, love the costumes they're making so far, although its kinda disappointing to see that Elektra's not dual-wielding the Sais. Or why they even chose Elektra in the first place... | Hm. It's not horrible, but not at all what I expected. I kinda' figured there'd be translucent flames around his head, but it's just a plastic fire stuck on the back of it. Also, it really looks like it's a single headpiece, not separate skull and flames. I would've been surprised, though, if it had turned out to be separate. I personally like the boots on this one; very cutesy and "slinky"-like. All you'd need to do is add some blonde, bushy eyebrows and WA-LA! | Just added this list to the first post. Don't be surprised if there are some errors like in the previous pack. On a positive note, Thor's hair is separate from his helmet, but Ghost Rider's skull is not separate from the flames.
