Select Emitted Objects Faster?

Archive: 7 posts

I know this may sound utterly trivial, and certainly not befitting of my first post here, but I've noticed this little problem wastes a lot of time over a long enough interval. When I capture an object to be emitted, it invariably ends up at the tail end of the third page of objects in the emitter object selection screen, and navigating to this object is a bit of a nuisance. I've noticed it's possible to organize objects in the standard poppit screen, but I've found no way to organize the emitted object selection screen for better ease of use. Does such an organization method exist?
I've searched rather extensively on this and other forums to no avail; however, if this has been posted before, sorry for wasting your time.
Thanks in advance for the help!

Nuclearfish once suggested a newest object section for emmiters.

I agree. It's annoying having to scroll down to the bottom of hundreds of objects to find the one you want to emit. Unfortunately, there's no easier way .

That was one of the things that impressed me the most, of course, I only found out after I tweaked the 20 emitters that are in the level individually.2010-07-13 13:43:00

I think that better organisation of the popit is something Mm always wanted but never implemented into number 1. The problem was at first was that the popit was reasonably organised for Mm's liking, but as more stickers and objects came out it became more cluttered. The emmiter thing is also a very big problem, I don't think they ever imagined us creating so much.

So its a good job those improvements will be n the sequel, better late than never.

Not in LBP1, so the workaround I use is to transfer any of My Objects I care about into prize bubbles in a storage level, and delete everything from My Objects from time to time.

That's a really good idea that I hadn't considered. Thanks!
