What frustrates me

Archive: 3 posts

Hi I'm kind of new here so I'm not to familiar with this place or anyone here but I hope I'm welcome.

I just recently bought LBP after a long time of wanting it (Because I didn't have a PS3) and I'm trying to get used to how to makes things in the create mode. I have a very imaginative mind so I plan to make lots of things once I get going.

There is one problem I have with this game though and maybe someone can correct me if I'm wrong. The problem I have is the fact that you CANNOT change the color of any material to a specific color that you want. It would be nice to have a color palette you could use to choose a color you want to change the material to. Like how they have the "Material Changer" it would be nice to have a "Color changer".

But I dunno, maybe I'm completely wrong about this and there is a way to change the color of any material. So far, the only information I've been able to find about this, is that you can use stickers to color the materials but the problem with that is it adds another step to the process when you could just change the color of a material and "save" that specific color and then continously use it throughout your level where you see fit.

Well, you can combine the colors that MM gave you with the global color settings to make custom color stickers.
Or, if you are lazy like me, search for "color stickers" levels. That's de only possible way now.

EDIT: I think you posted in the wrong section.

Not any more it's not

You can also use stickers of other materials and place them onto other materials to get nice effects.
it depends on the materials if ot looks good though.
Also using lighting in your level besides the global light switch can really spice up your level!
