The Four Elements Questonisdream
http://juliade2.free.fr/LBP/img1.jpgThe dark Lord stole the power of the four elements and tries now to destroy everything.
You are the guardian of the Legend sent to retrieve peace.
Explore the country and find a way to stop his evil schedule.

It's an exploration level as he takes place in a country with different type of places (village, forest, mountain, seashore, cave, etc).
So feel free to explore the world I designed but don't worry if you don't know where to go it's quite guided too.
If you are stuck somewhere it means you don't have the correct elemental power to go on.
Please contact me if you find bugs or something wrong in my level.
A second level is following but I'm still working on it.

Dont' worry you are not the first one to get stuck here.
If you want to try again I made an update to make the sticker target more obvious, I hope it would be helpful enough otherwise tell me.
Thanks to have tried anyway, I will play to your last level (Kinetic Crisis I guess).

I'm having the same problem as L1ghtmare. the tree sticker isn't working on the tree sticker switch. Maybe you mapped the wrong sticker to it?2010-07-11 20:12:00

Thank you very much Grim-421 !
You help me figure out the sticker problem with my level !
As you guessed, it was a sticker mapping problem and as I'm having all the stickers of my level from the beginning, it was working perfectly for me.
It's fixed now
Enjoy !

I just played your level and the tree sticker didn't work. Did you not update it yet? I gave it five stars because I'm sure it will be good, but I would like to try this when it is updated.2010-07-11 23:31:00

I gotta say.....That level was awesome! I think this is a must play if you like multi-path or story levels. Heres your feedback.

The Goods:
+ The level layout was well thought out. It was fun going back and forth to see new sections and challenges.
+ i loved the platforming in this level. (especially the forest)
+ the lightning effect was nice but it needs to be shorter flashes.
+ You use the global switches with music very well
+ you had some very nice point combos in there so it has alot of replay value
+ the avalanches were nice
+ the balloon/air carrier section was fun

Improvements:
- the fire section across that bridge for your 1st time going to the dark lord's seal was kind of random. it didnt really fit in.
-it would be good if you added a camera angle to the volcano section where the coal rolls down the hill. it was hard to see when they were coming at times.
- dont add a key to a level that not done LOL

Overall this level was excellent. Im glad you fixed the sticker problem. It'd be bad for people to miss this level. My favorite part was the snow and water section. You definately deserved 5 stars and a <3 for this one. cant wait for part 2. Finish it before giving out the key though lol.

Could you play my f4f level, kinetic Crisis? i would like to see your thoughts on it. The link is in my sig.

All right, I've complete my level now here's my review.

The Good:
Excellent story
Great platforming
Original RPG elements
Massive scale (who really would take the balloon down the mountain?)

The Not So Good:
A bit more walking then I would like
a massive let down thinking part 2 was done

Overall a well though out and layed out level with a ending having me iching for more. I give :star::star::star::star: and a <3

Hey man I just played your level and let me tell you it was long! its incredible how you created 4 different sections with 4 different elements and the theme changes everytime you go to a different section. Also the visual was a little off but it was good the gameplay and the puzzles were every cool.

Overall score.

Visualization: :star::star::star:
Gameplay/Puzzle: :star::star::star::star::star:
Music/Sounds Effects: :star::star::star::star:
Originality: :star::star::star::star:

overall I gave this level a :star::star::star::star: because of the visualization it was a little off I think thats how you made the level so long

Hey man can you feedback my level here is the level link: https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=29356-Sackboy-And-The-Demantoid-Crystal-%28part1-2%29

Yeah I know my level is a little too long but I didn't want to split the adventure in two, three or four because I wanted to desgin a whole world in one shot.
What do you mean by "the visual was a little off" ?
I try your level as soon as possible

- Love the planks hanging from the bridge.
- On the "coastal village" (were the other names capitalised?) route, the bridge broke when I jumped up from the water. Perhaps shrink the sensor switch range?
- On the way back to the village via the ice/cloud route, there is a small bit of dark matter showing on one of the clouds in the background

- Great implementation with the magic mouths (no annoying double ones where you can only read one etc)
- Loved the little side quest with the guy who fell down the well (haha).
- Sunken village was an ace idea. Would be funny if there was a guy underwater that says "glub glub" or something.
- Nice platforming in the various sections. I'm glad you implemented the shortcuts back to the village to prevent boring backtracking.

Not sure about the X arrows. On one hand they are clear, simple and do the job, but on the other you could perhaps implement one-way doors and encorporate them into the enviroment.
But a lot of people to the latter, and your approach seemed to fit in with the minimalistic style (using materials and corner editing over decorations and stickers) of your level.

Also, I would consider adding 4 sticker switches (1 for each element) out of the player's reach in the corner of the level or something. When I used the nature element a few times, it disappeared from my "trigger stickers" category, and it kinda felt like my character had lost that power. Or you can leave it on the current system which is good for completionist players.
Totally your preference.

And oh, maybe add more bonus areas (like the fire bridge) for each element?
Or maybe I just missed them!

5 stars, heart for the level, and a creator heart. (trifecta!)
I'll be sure to play the sequel!
BTW, I think the "2" in the sequels level badge could be more prominent.
No need to review my level if you don't have the time.

Amazing level. The visuals may have been decent and lacks a bit lighting, but it's a lot of fun. The elements of this level are fantastic and the idea of using the stickers to unleash the elements are brilliant. I recommend add a bit more decorations and stickers to this level.

Play and F4F "The Hero Chronicles LV4 The Lost Lagoon" if you can.

As adviced I made some quick updates :
- I reduce the sensor of the breaking bridge of the coastal village.
- I shorten the flash effect of the thunder
- I add some sound effects
- I mask still visible dark matter in the clouds.
- I remove the key for my 2nd level as it isn't finished yet.
- I add a camera for the rolling coal in the volcano valley
- I add invisible sticker switches to prevent the summoning stickers to disappear from the "trigger stickers" area

Hey, Thanks for trying my new level, here are the comments I left about your level at workshop, in case you didn't get back to read it...

Ok, let me award this level two superlatives: longest LBP level I've played

+ Best adventure level I've played.

I liked how the whole level was divided unto sections/realms and the player must visit each and collect the powers. It was also all tied back together with return shortcuts. I also found the activated element powers to be pretty effective, those mini-puzzle/solutions were inventive, my favorite being the triple rock pillars that rise up.

To be improved: maybe some better hints at what to do next. As most LBP levels are linear it will probably confuse many players to give the the freedom your level does. For example at first I ran Left instead of right so I was totally lost at the opening as to my goal. Also once the player finds all the elements it says to go to the tower to fight the finale, but no direction is given. (I actually got stuck at this point and exited, but I am open to replaying it)

Impressive how much you could fit into this level. It really has an epic feel to it. I also liked how you minimized the amount of bachtracking.
It's a long, but entertaining level.

It has some great gameplay elements (especially climbing snowy peak, traversing the underwater maze etc.)

I really liked some of the visuals (the treetops and clouds for example), but in a few places the visuals looked a bit rushed (like the spiked pits you swing over on the green quest.)

You've used good, diverse music. Necessary on a long quest like this.

Good stuff. Is the sequel already in the works?

Ok i liked this level alot, i love the villages and the storyline was classic. Pros- the snowballs that turned into staircases, the way you could get an easier path to a specific element if you already had the opposite element's sticker, the water element's area i thought was well designed, the overall simplicity and the loving atmosphere. I was trying to find some faults but i really think its perfect as it is, the only con being you misspelled "threat" in the magic mouth of the air element's wise old man.

4 stars and a heart.

I loved this level! It was very enjoyable!

Pros
- Awesome layout
- The story is nice
- Had some very unique platforming ideas
- The whole sticker/element system
- The water temple was awesome.
- The avalanches were cool
- The length of the level

Cons
- The thing going up to the lair is a little out of place (just my opinion)
- The scenery is good, but I felt it was missing something... maybe realistic stickers like dirt or black smudges/cracks would help...

Overall, the level was amazing! :star::star::star::star::star: and <3

This was the only level you had published: is it your first level? If so, that's amazing. I can't say that it's on the same level as the really great levels out there, but it's darn good and is freakin' phenomenal for a first level.

The visuals were nice, but kinda' bland. It could use s'more decorations and just more atmosphere in general. The glt transitions seemed kinda' abrupt: maybe add a few seconds to each of them to make 'em a bit smoother. The gameplay was straight up platforming that was pretty well done and I have no complaints about it except that maybe the avalanches in the snowy part could've been dangerous somehow.

I actually went up the snowy mountain first even though I'm pretty sure I wasn't supposed to be able to. I hopped across the broken pieces of bridge and clung to the hanging part and managed to climb up. If it bothers you that players can go out of order, you might want to see about fixing that; if not, then don't worry. I didn't really like how the elevators would just run continuously: you might want to add some logic to them so that they'll wait for sackboy to enter and also so they'll come when he gets near (so you're never stuck at the wrong end of an elevator).

I'd say the single biggest flaw with the level is the elevator in the water part. I stuck the sticker on the water symbol and the water all drained out, but I couldn't see where to go from there. I must've stickered/unstickered/restickered/ the water symbol and the blue background behind it a dozen times before I finally figured out that the background needed to be stickered to make the elevator work (since I couldn't see it when I was stickering). I thought the level had broken and that I was gonna' have to quit. I would see about fixing that: use a camera to show the elevator activating or something, and move the sticker switch from the blue wall to the water symbol so that it activates at the same time as the water going down. Also, for an extra bit of polish, instead of having the sticker switch turn it on/off, have it trigger a p-switch so the 'vator keeps running even if the player removes the sticker from the switch.

All in all, a very good level. Looking forward to the next one.

I was play ur level and it has seemed to me to be interesting, the ways, the labyrinths, the secret places are represented well, i get pleased the temple of 4 elements, and the guardian is a good creation, in general it is entertaining.

Suggestion: in occasions it comes is necessary to turn into something confused since you do not know to where you have to go first or where to find the stickers, i believe that it had been perfect without many snarls.

I have amused myself and the idea has been brilliant, i give u 4:star:?s

Returning you f4f

when I saw this before going in It had quite alot of plays and thought this is gonna be good, but as I got in and started to play it, it actually took my breath away!
I loved some of your ideas and obstacles and the idea of collecting the elements. The visuals were second-to-none and the idea was well executed!

Hey thanks for the feedback on Farewell Ruins of the Moon: Chapter Two.

I finally got to play this level after a few weeks, sorry it took long. DX
Anyway, pretty great level here. It was very long for one thing, but for some reason I couldnt quit. Most long levels I get bored of and stop playing half way through, but your level kept me attached which was a good thing. Some things I didn't like was it was a big level. Everything was spaced out and had lack of detail.
The effects were also not the best. All in all, though, I throughly enjoyed this level. At first it felt like a dull level with the slackish character designs, but it was fun in the end.

Hi, I played your level yesterday. It was pretty fun, :star::star::star::star: and tagged fun. Here is some detailed feedback:

good
- the level is huge, with many different paths.
- the idea of different paths, which are open once you are getting rights is great
- I like the general design, completely not horizontal.

Things you could consider
- sometimes I got stuck, and I was about to give up. For example in the very beginning I didn't know where to go first, because everything was closed. It is not fun to walk for a minute to find out the path is closed and have to go back. Also at the end, when I got the 4 stickers, I didn't know where to go to use them. Again, I was about to give up. I think you should give more tips about where to go next in every step.
- although the level is pretty big, there are not too many gameplay. In general, the level is too easy, with lack of platforms or more complex puzzles. You could consider adding more moving platforms, rolling things...
- the visual aspect is ok, but little bit plain. The characters are pretty simple and there is place to add more decoration in many parts of the level.

In general it is a great level, with lots of good ideas, but in my opinion it may be little bit funnier if you add more challenges in each step.

Could you please give me some feedback in my level "The tanks factory 2"?

Do you have a F4F level ?

I'm not real big on the F4F thing (it's great, but I never participate 'cuz I don't wanna' wind up obligated to play somebody's level), so you don't need to try any of mine. I just give feedback on levels I find on here to be helpful or 'cuz I like hearing myself talk... er... type. If you really want to though, feel free to check out any of the levels in "My creations," but no obligation.

@onturenio :
Thanks for the feedbacks, unfortunately you are not the only one to complain about being lost in my level, it's a point I'm going to work again (I thought the guidelines left by the wisemen were enough).
For the visual aspect, because of the size of my level I reach the Thermo limit regarding the total number of objects, so I have no choice to keep this aspect (but for the second and last episode of this quest I will not do the same mistakes).

Anyway I will try your level ASAP.

I forgot to mention, but I think the idea of using stickers as key to get access to different parts of the level may be a bad idea. I mean, if I want to play the level again, I will have all the stickers, so I'm not forced to follow the "correct" order in the level. This may be a problem with the gameplay of the level if players want to play several times...2010-08-24 14:54:00

Yeah that's the big flaw of this idea.
But it's the only way I found in LBP to make the player gain power and use this power to unlock already seen areas.
By the way, as my level is quite long I don't know if so many players would play it several times

Hahaha, who knows, you are supossed to think that your level will be awesome and people will play it several times

Anyway there are many ways to do what you want without stickers, but it requires little bit of logic (basically AND gates and permanent switches). If you want, I can show you how to do it, just send me a friend request and I will show you how to do it when we meet online

Thanks for your proposition but I know how to use AND gates and permanent switches (the LBPCentral logic pack helped me a lot for that) .
By the way I tried your level (see the feedbacks) and I see you put yourself a picture on the page of your level, how did you do that ? (for my level it's other players that put a picture, I don't know how works this section a the level page).

Thanks !

Easy! xD Just take a picture you like and which more or less is a good image of your level, and then upload it. To do so, navigate in the pop-up menu to the picture, and once you select the picture you took, navigate to the right and select "Upload" in the menu. The picture will not appear in your level at the moment, it uses to take half a day or so.2010-08-26 09:53:00

Thanks to all your feedbacks I made some new upgrades :
- I corrected the misspelled text
- I fixed all the bugs related to the elevator in the underwater shrine
- I also fixed the bug enabling the player to go to the Ice peaks mountain from the begining
- I changed the end of the volcano valley by adding a waggon to go back quickly to the village
- I tried to improve the way the player is guided through my level but it's still not perfect

Anyway continue to give me your opinion, it is very helpful !

Well, I know it's been forever, but I finally played it, and I really liked it. It's one of the few levels I've seen where free-roaming was done right. I'd like to know why we can't fight the dark lord at the end... I just showed up, popped the stickers on the big board, and tried to chase him down the hole... then I was at the scoreboard. I feel I have to complain about the lighting in your underwater sections. Overall the underwater parts are too square, too open and too dark. Also, you misspelled "naughty" as in "those nauty clouds..." The lightning was kind of weird too, especially when I ended up coming down through the clouds in a basket against a black sky... It just doesn't seem right. White clouds against a dismal black sky. It made me sad to look at it. You should think of a way to make the player use the fire element to get back home after he meets the red wise man. Overall, though, this is a really good level. I especially enjoyed the forest. Sorry it took so long for me to return the F4F.2010-09-11 14:48:00

I'd like to know why we can't fight the dark lord at the end...
Firstly because I have been too ambitious with this first level and the thermometer can't accept one more object.
Secondly because I am working on a big battle againdt the Dark Lord in my following level (oups spoiler !)

You found it too dark ?

The lightning was kind of weird too, especially when I ended up coming down through the clouds in a basket against a black sky
It sounds like a bug, normally the sky should be blue at this part, I have to check that

Great level, really good design based on a fantastic idea. Even though it was nonlinear, there was very little backtracking because it was always very quick. Quite fun as well and I liked all the characters you made. I did think the visuals could do with some work - in many sections there is only 1 material, but I felt as though it didn't really detract from the experience - the visuals weren't bad, just weren't great either. Also you need to work on some logic to operate some of the platforms and such. I would prefer to get on the platform, then it moves, rather than waiting for it and then falling out (as I did when I got on the airship back to the centre).

Firstly because I have been too ambitious with this first level and the thermometer can't accept one more object.
Secondly because I am working on a big battle againdt the Dark Lord in my following level (oups spoiler !)

This was going to be my complaint! Why no battle against the dark lord? I really think you should hack the thermometer in order to get that battle in the same level.

Anyway great level I gave it :star::star::star::star:

Hi, great level. A lot of fun game play which was varied enough. I love the custom sticker designs and the way you made freeing the wise men the object of the quest. Using the stickers to limit the players was also very clever. I really thought the underwater temple part very well done.

I did notice a misspelling for "nauty clouds" : naughty. This was on the way to the water part I think. I also would like to see you work a bit more on the visuals. I don't like to see the pistons and bolts, for instance. Some places the visuals look really good but other parts need a little more attention. I really struggle with this bit myself.

Still, great quest, and I had lots of fun.

Good luck to you and thanks for your kind words on Flying Saucers. (I accidentally left the jet pack in that I use for play testing parts I've changed without having to play other sections. So glad you caught that.

I liked the level and the concept of the for environments separated throughout one world. The different effects on each of the environments from the stickers was well thought out, and I really enjoyed the intro of the level and the story behind it. However, the visuals and organization of the level could use some touching up, I felt lost at times and didnt really know where to go at the beginning. But pretty good job overall, it was worth the play. :star::star::star::star:2010-09-18 05:46:00

An amazing level, I just loved the gameplay and the four separate realms! Sometimes I was a bit lost....... but found my way eventually. The level was long but it did not frustrate me. Anyway, can't wait for the second part!!!! 2010-09-19 14:23:00

Edit 1 :
Thanks to the LBPCentral advanced logic pack, I added some new logics in my level.
For instance I followed this great thread on elevators : https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=18351-Tutorial-3.1-Designing-an-Advanced-Elevator
to improve the red one connecting the rocky mountain to the village.

Enjoy !

PS : I corrected the last mispelling too.

Edit 2 :
As requested many times, I added one more use of the fire element.
I also experimented a new way to show where to go to the player, I hope it would work !
And at last I polished a bit some areas and reviewed the music atmosphere.

thanks for commenting on my level though yours is much better. I liked the idea of using four elements to get past blockages and progress in the level however fire didn't seem to get much of a look in. it's very well done though I did get stuck in the well before realizing I had to go sideways.2010-09-25 00:58:00

What a great adventures level! I like the whole simplicity style and RPG feel. Gameplay was great, game plays a little spaced out but good for what it was. I thought it was very clear where to go and each section was very fun to explore . Bit disappointed that it wasn't concluded all in the same level, I expect the next level would been invading his lair with the use of the element powers ? or something like that.

These are just a few nit picks but I thought the villagers were dressed a bit to modern to be talking about element stuff, Dark Lords and so on. Also thought it was a shame that there wasn't any enemies in a element based level. I just thought it would add more appeal to the level.

I gave this 4 stars, tagged brilliant plus heart

...i actually played this level a while back...and just realized that i never did comment! I really enjoyed this vast exploration level. The overall execution of all four elements in one level is very impressive and the usage of the sticker is great. I look forward to seeing where you take us next in the future!

First off thanks for the heads up on my darned walker. I had been meaning to play your level...and now I have. I loved the arch and style. Right off I noticed it gets super white and then dark...was not sure if that was on purpose or if your level does what a few of mine do and set to a weird global lighting from the start for no reason. You may need to have one set to .1 seconds with an inverse mag trigger...if you did do that on purpose, it just seemed a little weird because I could see me high up and then not...this was not a bad thing, just looked like an issue I have with my levels. I loved the guy at the start, very nicely done with the intro. The people in your village...while looking good...did not match your wizards and such and seemed out of sync with the style...in some ways. Again not an issue, just noticed the break. I got lost right away...btu that was more my fault messing around with the well and such. The tree area was nice, but at the top there was one tree grabbable that was connected by a piston to the clouds above...mabye hiding the piston and connecting a long rope to a near by tree so it just looks like a weird vine or such. The explosives sticker reminded me of the western level...so that also took away from your own created world. Liked the sky lift. The tree power seemed more like an earth power...I wished to see some trees grow or roots lift me when I used it...like that first rock area. The ice area was nice, but I did get crushed by that first ballon to hop in and some of the snow corners stuck out a bit...I have the same issue on a snow level...the thin layer is a bit harder to mesh with the thick layers with that snow material. Really enjoyed the water area....even though I was killed by those spinny spikes may a times. One of the guys handing out the powers had three text bubbles, and one he finished talking it looked weird with three trianles, maybe having them all attached to a one shot switch of some sort may clean up the look. The fire level worked well, I did fall in the gap between the cool moving wood bridges and the spawn point a few times because I did not notice a hole because of the camera. I went to the guy and stickered away...and then was a little unsure where to go because I had gone all over...maybe a majic mouth over on the temple that say this is where to go...just to jog the memories of those like me who forget. Great level though, loved the use of stickers, the mulit environment, the free raom....just a corner editing in the snow, the piston in the trees, some of the speech bubbles, a direction hint once or twice, tree sticker giving tree powers, and the people more like your other charcters...on and walking into the end point was a bit less polished than the rest of your level...a little to be continued...fade to black as door closes...and then end point? Thanks for your feedback.2010-09-28 05:38:00

Wow that was one of the best levels I've played! I really can't find any faults with it. Hmm maybe a small thing is that I accidentally closed the last text bubble and couldn't reopen it, but that was my fault. Great job on the level, 5 stars and a heart.2010-10-21 20:13:00

Returning feedback:
The level starts off very well, the whole villian with the elemnents in his palm was a very good way to start of the level and suck players in. I thought the whole atmosphere varying between the 4 element sections was done rather well. The sticker switches and platforming were done nicely, athough some areas throughout the level seemed sparse, maybe to cut back on that you can put decorations so the level flows well. I am sorry to say that I didn't get to finish the whole level, but from what I saw, you have a very great way of designing your level, overall a great level to play and gave it a 5:star:

Awesome multi path level. One of the best I have played. You have done the four elements theme very well. Maybe a bit more detail to add visual interest. Also maybe animate the characters - add moving arms or something, just so they do not look like they are made out of stone. Apart from that I can not think of any other advice. I really liked the camera work around the swing bridge area. It shows are path that you currently can not get to, then after leaving the frame and pulling the switch to elevate the stairs, you then return to the frame - fun stuff.Well done. 5 stars, hearted, tagged Multi Path.2010-11-05 22:25:00

Thanks for playing my level. Well I played your level and here's what I had to say:

It was a refreshing change from the usual platforming affair. I personally love RPG's but I don't think they generally work really well in LBP. I have played maybe 1 or 2 that were good and yours was crap... jk. It was great! First off, the areas which i felt could do with some improvement. The looks: They were servicable but thats about it. I felt like if you put more work into the looks of your level, it would really help immerse the player into your deep adventure more but as it sits, I felt that the aesthetics didn't really do justice to the gameplay you provided us with as well as i could have. For example, the floating lights in the well and other areas just seemed odd and out of place and in some parts, the overall meterials and looks just felt a little unfinished and plain like the cliffs parts. Then again, this simplicity may have been what you were going for but for me, I felt that some more decorations, stickers and better lighting couldn't livened up your world even more.

Now for the good: I really liked the structure to the level. Never did I feel like I was misguided or stuck, there was always a nice flow to your structure which is a good thing in an adventure based level. The adventure was nice and long too but I was quite satisfied in the end and I knew there would be no boss in it I could just feel it. I enjoyed the four elements and wise old men aspect even though it was a little cliched, you pulled it off which enough charm to make me like it. And fun an enjoyable RPG?Adventure level indeed I look forward to the sequel.

Thanks you. L Fiers.

Great atmosphere, great storytelling. it feels like an RPG. It is huge, stretched out and it really gets the feeling across of an RPG world. I love the themes of each area.

The progression that you make through the level is a great touch; you are allowed to explore, but the stickers that you gather as the story goes on helps you get past those parts that blocked you earlier.

The characters you designed look awesome!

Nice use of water to rid the road of a burning obstacle. The obstacles that you need an invocation for really nicely match the element every time.

Some bugs I think I found:
- Hole in sticker trigger makes it easy to mistakenly sticker it on the background instead
- Lights in underground watertunnel back to the village has the lights floating in the air
- I cannot get out of the water there; the jump up is too high
- On my way back to the village from the fire place, my mine cart flipped over and blocked the road back, but with all the stickers i could restart the level and sticker the triggers in the town square. There was however no ending sequence for me; i might need to replay the entire level again completely to see that some time.

Lights in underground watertunnel back to the village has the lights floating in the air
With L Fiers, You are the second one to tell me this, I will change that

I cannot get out of the water there; the jump up is too high
At the begining it was a wanted dead-end (to have a kind of water maze), but it doesn't seem to be popular

the triggers in the town square. There was however no ending sequence for me
Oh I didn't expected that players think the town square was the ending, indeed the real end point is in the tower by taking the red cable car.

By the way thanks everyone for the last comments, I am still improving this level so all your feedbacks stay helpful

Hello,
This was a fun level that definately had RPG theme to it.

Pros:
+use of elements through out the quest was cool
+the journey through out the four corners of the level was well thought out
+i like how you incorporated the well between the town and the water cave
+reminded me of the old school RPG quest games

Cons
-wish the cable car and airship were not ran off of a stiff piston, needs more realistic feel

and for me i got all the way to the underground lava area and I used the water sticker , the water came up and settled down before it would put out fire. I'm not sure if did something wrong or if it just did not work that time. Either way it was fun, creative, well thought out. :star::star::star::star:

After a bit of a delay, here's your feedback for free!

The Four Elements Quest is a nice RPG level. The design is nice, and this level pulls off several themed areas very well. Gameplay included a lot of nice platformy bits, and some creative uses of tools (making mines out of those spikes looks very good, and plays very well). During my playthrough, I did notice a few nitpicks here and there, for instance:

-In the middle of the forest, there is a tree with green glass as part of the tree. This seemed a bit odd, as there weren't any other glass trees around, and so this one stuck out like a sore thumb.
-On the mountain, there is a button which releases the balloon, allowing it to move up and down. While this works, preventing the player from cheating through an area, it doesn't really connect with the level. (a wild button appears!). You might want to consider using a sensor trigger instead, and a nice snapping noise (as I believe the balloon is snapping free of its tethers). Perhaps even a little avalanche effect in the thin plane.
-The water maze might be a bit confusing to people. You go up the left area, and then there is a ledge which looks like it might be reachable, and the big X sticker of yours. It took me a while to figure out that meant "don't go here", and when I realized that, I turned around and found the correct way. Less patient visitors might quit at that spot instead. To help guide players, I might suggest adding in some sort of trigger there to block the path. For example, you swim up there, and suddenly there is an earthquake and debris starts falling in the water, threatening to crush you. Or there is something on the far edge to block your way from jumping up.
-The viewscreen at the end looks a little hokey. Part of this is because it is seemingly coming out of nowhere. If the viewscreen descended from behind the big stone wall, I think that would look better. If you're short on space back there, a Theck layer might help you out. Or alternatively, the screen could be above the door, and flicker into life as the door opens via emitters.
-Some of the travelling back is a bit tedious (namely the balloon and cable car). If the player can save a lot of time by jumping down, they're probably going to do that instead.

I gave this level :Star::Star::Star::Star: and look forward to number 2
