How unique something is is not as important as other things etheir ( There are more then one dead space level for example " I don't know why so many ppl here think that story is important for an at most 10 minutes long level, I couldn't care less all i need is " you must kill the evil dragon to free the princess " When many lbpc creators try to create an advanced story, it is in the end extremly boring. When i was doing reviews for LBPG ( The site is not as good as this one, no need for link, no need for registration etheir ^^ ) I gave a level were you were up in trees 7/10 i think and the creator flipped out and wanted me banned because i insulted his levels...... TBH i didn't enjoy the level at all and wanted to give it 6/10 but gave it abit higher to keep the peace ( but failed) It was tedius with all the text and so, it felt so meaning less having to do many small quests that didn't make sence to me at all ( And way to many quest). Having to much story is going to make an level unplayable, but hard core players still keep pride in a well written story. WoW solves this well with it's instances and raids, if you wanna have the story you can have it and spend 40 minutes reading about how Onyxia disguised herself as a human in Stormwind and was part of a dragon blood brother hood and is related to Death wing bla bla bla bla..... I bet 90 percent of the players who did the raid only wanted to kill a big bas dragon and get rewarded with a sence of accomplishment and gears. Im not promoting bomb survivals at all, since they are not ambitius enough imho. A reviewer should only review the story if the story is important or is a big part of the level.

Im lost just because i don't find quick 10 minute levels necessary to have big complex boring storys ? As crude as it sounds lbps focus was play,create,share. PLAY Not READ. Not even the games actual story levels has a very well written story. If you put an advanced story in a level then alot of people will be frustrated because they didn't come there to read, they came there to play. I don't care about the reseon as to why i have to kill a big bad boss like a dragon for example, as long as the level and the bossfight is enjoyable ^^

Some people find it enjoyable, and I think that you should just quit the level if you don't enjoy it. No sense in playing it longer than you want to but don't ruin its star rating (well the systems messed up they should definitely have skip button for stars not just tags). Oh and I wasn't talking about you. Oh and levels can be more than 10 minutes (use sticker checkpoints)
