So I noticed at the end of comphermc's cute little evil level Roller INC, he had his name spelled out with letter stickers that were transparent on the parts that weren't letters. They were clearly custom stickers because they maintained the rectangular outline, but it was transparent in those parts. So I'm asking how he went and did this. :x I really want to know for some of my own stickers.

Its some kind of complex material placement thingy that I can't understand. There are however some vids on Youtube that show you how to(kinda).

Try looking up "Transparent Stickers" in LBP, and there should be a level with a leaf icon that has those letter stickers in it.

The black material is transparent in photos, so you could put objects in front of the black material and take a picture to create stickers with transparent backgrounds. The glitch has only ever happened to a few people.

Creator_B did them. When they entered create mode the was a glitch when loading the level and a block of material went jet black. It didn't show up when taking ingame pictures though. Fredrik97 (I think) has two alphabets of them. I have a snout used for my spyro costume (Published tutorial with it /plug). They can be really useful especially because the default letters are a quite hard to read at times.

Recently the original sticker request thread from January has been bumped. Some sources told Luos that Creator B can still use the object to create transparent stickers. Who knows! Anyway if you want to check the thread out here I'd the link, some people have tried reproducing it and failed. You can also learn more about the glitch too. Apparently Josh_of_souls managed to reproduce the glitch. He told me how but I cant quite remember all the details. It involves risking your PS3 to crashing and losing all your LBP however.
