Yea Safari can do it, but need of zooming is sometimes annoying + JavaScript is not best side of Mobile Safari

I think better idea is to just make mobile friendly version of site, setup for smaller screens, like this one:

m.gazeta.pl
or this http://www.1webapps.com/apps/calculators/velocity-converter/
Here list of more examples: http://www.apple.com/webapps/

Much cheaper solution (To make iPhone app you need to pay 99$/year to Apple) and it will not only benefit in iPhone, but in all mobile devices

KernelM and I were discussing this the other day! It would be great to do!

I also want someone to make a bluetooth keyboard app for the PS3! (As I have no money to buy a proper PS3 keypad...)

the ps3 already supports that. there is a area in setting, (acsessories0 where you can connect bluetooth devices.

You can't make app on iPhone that will host something on Bluetooth using SDK

Are you absolutely sure? I know you can turn iOS devices into keyboards for Mac's (And windows....?)

I'm looking at building iOS apps, and I also though of this a few days ago, dunno if it would be worthy my time though, might be better to cook up some mobile friendly site.

i just think it would be awesome to have a lbpc app other than going on safari then serching it and logging in is just too horrible. Zoom in, user name, drag, password, and yeah. but yeah ipods safari work so idk.2010-07-11 05:26:00

Save the password. And save the bookmark to the home screen, just press on the icon and the site loads straight away, logged in. No need to even open safari

Itds be pretty cool to have an offline app with all the logic tutorials on it as well as useful contraptions from the tutorial page. Each page could be a step of the tutorial. So instead of an app of LBPC, it'll be more like a manual.

Then for the troubleshooting section you'd link it to the relevant topic/page of LBPC.

Those apps using network (WiFi) and special driver software, as i know iPhone only support control over virtual COM port BT profile, but not any other. PS3 only supports driver-less USB and Keyboard profile BT keyboards, same go with Headset/Microphone support. But aren't we little off-topic now? we suppose to talk about LBPC app, or you ant that keyboard included in that app? XD still i think website made for mobiles will do a better job

Nah, I don't think we need an app for LBPC.

I did, however, start making a LBP Guide. I'm stuck now because I'm trying to figure out TableViews... grr.

If ConfusedCartman makes an iPhone friendly version of lbpc, you wouldn't need an app. (Though you could put it on a secret URL and have it a pay app...)2010-07-11 19:14:00

No sure what people thought of the guide idea, where you'd have all the logic and switchs etc etc in one place for the iphone/touch. But thinking about it it doesn't need to be an app. It can be so much simpler.

A PDF.

Because now theres the ibooks app you can now read pdf's on the devices all you'd have to do is copy paste the articles you want into word, change the page setup around a bit and then save it. Obviously if you wanted to snaz it up and look fancy you could if you have the skill. But in terms of getting an up and running document it's pretty easy i think.

This is purely a demo pdf i created using the first stage of the LBPC's logic tutorials. it's a PDF so it'll work on any computer but if you've got an iphone/touch can you put it on there and see if it works alright for you.

If you're unaware of how to put a pdf onto the device just download the document, open itunes then the books tab and drag and drop it into the section. Then obviously treat it the same as music and drag and drop into the devices book tab as well. Anyway heres the link.

(As I have no money to buy a proper PS3 keypad...)

To this I say use a standard USB keyboard from a computer. I use one and it works very nicely with not having to open the popit for chat. The only pitfall is having to be relatively close to the TV.

I know a lot of people still only use PS/2 so using a usb keyboard is still a matter of going out and buying one.
