What should I get?

Should I download all the ps3 themed add-ons or wait for future add-ons? Tell me what you think. p.s. I only have $17 on my psn account. | 2010-07-10 02:10:00 Author: ConverseFox Posts: 2333 |
I would take a good look at what is in those PS3 add-ons and make your decision based off of that. Some of the PS3 add-ons don't have anything that I am really interested in, but it is just personal taste for me, as well as a knowledge of what levels I will be working on in the near future. If I was you, I would take a look at the stickers that are in each of the packs and see which of those would be useful to you. It would also be good if you could find a level that shows off what music is in each pack. A lot of people really liked The Wedding Pack from LBP PS3 because it had darker lighting to it and also had music that really stands out. Just look for this sort of thing and see if there are any packs that will be useful to you. I certainly wouldn't just spend the money so that you can have all the packs and then end up not using some of them! Just hand onto the money, and if you end up needing something from one of the packs then you can use it on the pack that has what you need. Cambridge has been EXCELLENT at bringing us new content almost every other week, so I'm sure that stuff you like will be coming :-) | 2010-07-10 02:31:00 Author: amazingflyingpoo Posts: 1515 |
hmm i would get some of both because the ps3 ones have music. | 2010-07-10 02:32:00 Author: SketchNZ Posts: 1668 |
I have these add-ons: The Weddings Theme Pack The Canyons Theme Pack The Metropolis Theme Pack MotorStorm Hessain Stitch Level Pack Turbo! Premium Level Kit PSP Fantasy Level Kit (duh) And all the costume packs I have exactly enough to get all the other ps3 add-ons and I plan on getting all the add-ons in the future. | 2010-07-10 03:51:00 Author: ConverseFox Posts: 2333 |
Depends. If you know you're going to add more funds into your wallet (via PSN), then I say go for it. If not, then I suggest you wait a bit and think before you act. Trust me, I have experienced the regret of buying something I hate. *Cough* MW2 Map Pack *Cough*. | 2010-07-10 03:56:00 Author: CyberSora Posts: 5551 |

I have about 1 hundred dollars and I plan on saving for an iPod touch but I don't care if I use some on this. As in yes I do plan on adding funds whenever I need to. | 2010-07-10 04:02:00 Author: ConverseFox Posts: 2333 |

I still say that you should do some research and decide if you will use the pack. It's really a waist of money to buy a pack that will never use. Sure, they only cost $2.99, but if there just isn't anything of use in there then I would stay away. I haven't bought all of the PS3 packs for this very reason. I may end up getting them someday, but for now I just can't justify spending the money for something I may never use. | 2010-07-10 05:12:00 Author: amazingflyingpoo Posts: 1515 |

Sorry if I'm wrong here, but I meant that if you're going to add the funds soon (ex. by the end of the month). If it's going to be a while before you add more funds into you wallet, then I suggest you keep the money you have right now. Like I said before, you'll regret not waiting for future products. Don't buy them until you're positive you want them (that MW2 was only a 50% want, and that was only because I was addicted to it for a while... *facepalm*). | 2010-07-10 11:59:00 Author: CyberSora Posts: 5551 |
Well, today is my BIRTHDAY and my dad says he wants to take me shopping, so I don't know if I will add funds soon or not. | 2010-07-10 22:07:00 Author: ConverseFox Posts: 2333 |
Yeah, I bought the Gardens Pack cause I liked the stickers and the music that was in it, cause it seemed to go along with my level that I'm creating. I might get the Metropolis pack sooner or later cause of the stickers and things like that. And I'm not sure about the wedding pack. amazingflyingpoo said that alot of people bought it cause of the music, so I'll have to see what the music is like, since I'm not sure which music is from what pack most of the time. | 2010-07-10 22:38:00 Author: eagerneph Posts: 1536 |
