| They were planing lbp2 from the start.... the first one was just to see what ppl like and a test... Sony probably payed superginuses (Mm) to make the ultimate play, create, share, game that microsoft or nitendo wouldnt be able to match... | Hey!!! I baked that cookie!!! P.s. Not a conspiracy... Also, LBP2 has a lot of suggested stuff in the game from LBP players. So, It can not be what they originally visioned. ( It's probably awesomer)(Is awesomer a word?) | the videos and stuff I've seen of the pre-alpha lbp 1, was 3d (with turns on the z axis and what not) and had the ice hazard (which I really hope makes it into lbp2 btw) but I really don't think they had any of the logic tools, or anything like that.. In fact I believe I saw an Interview once with Alex, where he talks about going to (ps3?) execs with the idea for lbp1, and didn't really think they would care for the creation aspect, so he billed it as simply a platformer, and kind of slipped the idea of creating levels in somewhere in the presentation. The exec said he should focus more on the creating and sharing, and then lbp1 was born... but the point is, lbp1 was a platformer at heart, lbp2 is "a platform for games"... so I guess what I mean is I disagree that there is a conspiracy... or something. *eats blood soaked cookie, covered in buckshot.* | 2010-07-10 20:00:00 Author: Madafaku  Posts: 738 |
