| I'm just gonna post speculation and questions about LBP2 down around here, taken from LBW, where not many Game Jammers reside at the moment. Hiya Guys! Played some LBP today and messed around with Portal designs and such and when I tried to make a turrent I was reminded of that you just can't build small, cuz it will cause the material to dissapear. Can we actually build small in LBP2? That would've been great, thanks! I believe the original poster means to ask whether or not dark matter, rubber, etc. can be shrunk to be invisible in LBP2. I'd imagine they've fixed that, but it would be interesting to find out if Mm have actually provided an invisible material, or if the people who went to the Game Jam didn't actually test it out. | The Vacuum Material seems to do everything dark matter did in LBP1 and it also appears to have some incredibly useful features with it. This is what rtm223 posted in his article from a few weeks ago regarding Vaccum Material. Vacuum Material Worth mentioning on its own is the vacuum material, which looks a lot like a holograph. Visually it looks pretty cool - it is lit up without actually casting out any light and has a translucency as well as an animated texture. Colour is tweakable to all of the new colors available for lights, and the brightness can also be tweaked - turning the brightness down to 0 will make it completely invisible and up to full will make it intensely bright and opaque. It's also possible to control its color/intensity by switch - on / off and "fade" are the options - fade allows you to control it in an analogue manner.
