Little Big Planet 2 Interview With Leo Cubbin

Archive: 22 posts

I didn't see this posted anywhere, but it's a short little interview with the producer. Not big in terms of new info, but there's some good questions and some nice gameplay footage in some parts. Pretty interesting.

Thanks for that Piggabling! I am convinced no one has gotten on those caterpillars other than in the announcement trailer! Which we technically didn't see so.. :kz:2010-07-09 04:10:00

Mmm if you pause the video at 2:51 where it shows the sackboy flying that bird vehicle, Look at the top left corner, It looks as if theres a cloud like material!

I really hope its that!

A smoke machine would be very helpful. Now that you mention it, I do remember reading about that. Probably in rtm's list... Very helpful considering we had to use ugly rockets for smoke before 2010-07-09 18:37:00

I saw two switches ive never heard about before. One in a shape of a sackboy, and the other being a question mark. Anybody know what those are?2010-07-09 21:28:00

In another video, the question mark is a randomizer, I think.

Refer to geruvah's vids, I think.

The question mark is definitely the randomizer. I don't know how it works though. Does it just send out trigger signals at random intervals, or does it actually output a random number sequence somehow? What switches and logic would take that as in input?

As for the sackboy, I suspect it has something to do with sackboy/bot properties

You can connect any switch to the randomizer and the Sackboy-shaped switch is a Sackboy-tracker. That's how I remember it anyway. 2010-07-10 11:47:00
